um i bought the 30 armour in ascalon. I am now at Lions Arch...when do you think is a good time to buy new armor, what city? I was just wondering because i dont want to waste my money...Thanks! :)
now is.
Money isn't hard to get, and the next time you see armor is a ways off. kryta is quite unforgiving, so prepare yourself with a new suit.
You try putting runes on your current armor?
This might just do th ejob and save you some hard earned resources and
If I read the forum right you should be able to recover the runes to use on another set.

I have made it out to Bloodstone Fen with the 150g Bonelace from Ascalon
I am going to see if I can make it to Ventari's Refuge and get my Tormentor's Armor
only gonna cost me:
112 Tanned Hides
28 Steel Ingots
6000g
I got all of it covered except the gold I gonna get about 3 more bars to afford it... but should not be too hard in that area... or I will go Scale hunting

If you wanted to know...
I actually survived until the Crystal Desert (even ascending) just using my pre-searing armor, i was the envy of my guild ^^

I continually save coin and crafting material and sold what I couldn't save (I tried to keep stuff maxed (out in my storage area). I upgrade at Old Ascalon, Lion's Arch, and Drognar's. Currently using Bonelace armor with minor runes on it. This recent patch is making it easier to find major runes!!
Cheers

(and then granite, but thats different)
i feel those are about the crucial points.

I seem to be missing something. The only different at Yaks Bend (armor wise) is Fanatics armor is available. Fanatics is harder to get (more crafting needed) costs the same and proivides the same benefit as Bonelace (armor 30, +15 against piercing and +5 energy)
Is there a difference between Bonelace and Fanatics. I knowFanatic has better value, but is there any other difference?

Not that I know of other than the YB armor looks badass. When put up along side the comparable bonelace armor you look like a medieval hellspawn and they are stuck looking like they just stumbled out of a goth S&M club. Worth the extra cost? Meh. Guess it comes down to personal tastes but the image upgrade was worth it for me.

Is Tormentors the best you can get? What are its attributes? I'm currently at Bloodstone Fen lvl 15 with Ascalon Bonelace armor...and im wondering if i should buy new armor, or just wait like you are doing. Oh and also how far from Bloodstone Fen is Ventari's Refuge?
Thanks!
