Crafting Material

I have a lot of Granit Slab, Iron Igots, Tanned Hide Squares, Wood Planks, Bolt of Cloth, Steel Ingots and some other crafting material you can buy from the crafting ?shop?. Should i sell them to the NPC or will i have use of them later in game? And if so, which one should i keep?

Common materials are used to craft armour and weapons in towns, then you have crafters that can make rare crafting materials like steel ingots etc that require common items, so you are best off keeping them really, and selling items to get gold.

You use the materials in order to craft better armor for yourself throughout the game. If you go to this link: http://www.gwonline.net/page.php?p=75 you can see different types of armor you can get, where to get it, and what you will need to get it. The list is a little outdated but at least it will give you an idea of what items you will need in the future, and whether you'll need a few of them of a LOT of them :)
