Is there any place you can go to re-play the movies you've alread seen? I was told I had to skip all the cutscenes when I was doing the glint quest (or they'd map back to town... I was the only one that hadn't seen them); now I have no idea what changes went on :(
Can anyone tell me how to watch that scene (short of doing the mission again)?

Nope that's the only way to see them. Sorry. :(
 Maybe they'll release the movie parts to make money. Now, that's an idea for those who miss the movies.

I feel and share your pain!! I just completed the Ruins of Surmia quest the other day, and was experiencing quite a bit of lag. Just as I completed the final battle of the mission, and received my experience, the game kicked me out!! When I logged back in I was at Nolani Academy, without any understanding of how I got there because I didn't get to see the cutscene!! :(

unfortunately you can't....
however I am planning on recording and making a dvd with all of the GW cinematics on it, which will also be freely availible on the net via a torrent distribution system. No ETA on it, though sometime early next month I would think.

Sweet! Will it be "broken" down by cinematic? I wouldn't want to watch past where I've gotten at this point.
I'll say it in advance Good job (cuz I'm sure it will be :happy65: ), and make sure you let us know when it's online :worship:

well, it partly depends on how well I can author the dvd to do exactly how I want it presented.
What I am aiming for is each cinematic to be grouped with its relevant mission, so when you choose a mission (say The Wilds), it will play all of the cinematics for that mission in order with a small title caption for when it occurs.
eg:
The Wilds
-seed bridge
-chosen and the spiders
-closing
What about intellectual property rights of ANet?
Really think they'll grant permission for this sort of thing?
Yes i would be concerned about rights issues here too. Although your idea is a very good one perhaps you'd be better off getting permission to do so before making it or at least verify that this is a permisable action.
