:confused: Help i can not install the game.My pc connects to arenanet I specify where i want to install the screen then changes to Guild Wars downloading and freezes there.Nothing is actually downloaded and there is no trace of anything haveing been installed on my hard drive.

It may be directx releated issue. Have you check if you have 9.0c version ?

Yeah i have it installed and have reinstalled it from the disc.

May i suggest that you repost this issue in the Technical forum together with your complete computer specs.

It's a good thing Zyo was around to help you out, there are only a few people in this forum.

I would say this sounds like a network issue. Your firewall or router very likely blocks traffic from the arena.net servers.

Though I don't remember your needing to download anything just to install the game. Only once it is installed and running for the first time should you have to connect to the servers to update your data files...
