Free GW Ventrilo server

I am not sure if you are all aware, but there is a free Ventrilo server out there for GW users. I used it once before, but lost the address on a reinstall. Thanks to Oo Fatal Error oO for showing it to me again last night.

Who runs this? Is this something sponsored by Gwonline? By Anet? Or is this some random nice person? Or some random evil person who will do crazy technomagic things to my computer if I log in? :surprise:

Also discussed at the meeting, we will be cleaning up guild channels and limiting guilds to ONLY 2 SUB CHANNELS EACH. It has been decided that guilds really don't need any more than this, and technically still have 3 channels including your base so make proper use of it.

Prank Calls Will be making a come back! So LOOK OUT - GW Vent FTW!!!!

This is a very large server, and the admins are doing their best
to keep the server friendly to everyone. please be tolerant and patient.

If you need help from an admin, page him/her and go DIRECTLY to chat.
if paged, the admin will go to chat right away. If the admin doesnt go to chat,
that means (s)he is afk or for some other reason cannot help.
please do not keep bothering the admin if he does not respond.

General Rules of GW-Vent

This server has a Zero Tolerance policy.
breaking the following rules can and will result in consequences
from the server admins listed below.

1. Respect your fellow gamer and be polite at all times, NO MATTER WHAT.

2. Abusive/racial/insulting phonetics (ie. [][][][][][][][]) are NOT tolerated
and WILL result in an instant permanent ban.

3. Gw-Vent cannot be held responsible of guild channels on the server.
if you are having a problem within a guild channel, do NOT contact a server admin.
No guild channels will be moderated or observed by any server admins.
If a guild leader/channel admin needs help with their guild channel,
feel free to contact a server admin about that.

4. Sexual harassment of ANY kind will NOT be tolerated.
We DO have females on this server, so be nice and mature.
If you are experiencing sexual harassment, do contact a server admin ASAP,
and they will take care of it right away.

5. Do not idle in Admin Alley. This is annoying and will not be tolerated.

6. If you are experiencing admin abuse, report it directly to another admin,
and it will be handled ASAP.

Also, we are currently searching for a multi lingual admin
so if you speak spanish, german, french or russian fluently,
together with english of course, please contact us if you are interested in an admin position.

Hope this is still available ... I am checking with guild. We may be able to donate some money. This is great and I for one want to THANK you for this had a co worker that plays WOW and he mentioned Vent to me. He loves it. Will check back later with you... I am at work and cant do much.
