Now that we got to professions with the first letter R how will they do it? will they just leave ranger as a R and Ritualist as a RI or will they change the Ranger to a RA? What do you think?

I would go for Ri and Ra... (the way we have Me and Mo or El and En in French)

From what I have seen everyone is calling it the Ri, so I think this is a non issue. never was, never will be imo.

I think it should be Ra and Ri, just so there is no confusion. It wont be hard to adjust to saying Ra/* instead of R/*

True, they've got a precedent with the Mo and the Me, there's no reason to change their system. Only possible defense for the R/Ri is that the Ranger is a core class while the Ritualist is a Chapter 2-only class, but I think Ra/Ri is more likely.

Were not talking about the abriviation of the ritualist but becuase of ritualist sarting with a R will they change Ranger to RA?

i definatly think they should go with Ra for ranger from here on. it gives more of an independant feel for the ritualist, as well as lessens confusion. remember, not everyone is particuarly inteligent, i've seen many people spamming X/M lfg, and there's no way to tell if they're mes or monk, so for the sake of keeping everything tidy, i believe Ra and Ri is the way to go

A preexisting class should not make way for new classes ranger keeps the R.

I agree, Ra and Ri. It would be the same instance for Mo and Me. Just use the first two letters so not to confuse anyone. All the others seem to be fine until we get more classes that begin with the same first letter. Easy! :girly:

I'm goin with Merls & Zero on this one. Although, it looks like our opinion is in the minority....

I'm assuming that they will make an update that will make all abbreviations using 2 letters (Warrior = Wa, Necromancer = Ne, etc), this will save them a lot of work in the future updates if they did it this coming Chapter.

It's more productive this way.

Honestly, I don't care, and I doubt this will be a problem either way they do it.
