As the thread says it also works on ranger spirits :3 so maybe if you whant to get rid of you're own ranger spirits use rupture on them :tongue:

Hey, that's really nice to know, cause that mean now you can use Frozen Soil and if your team is dying you just get rid of it yourself.

There are other Ritualist skills that target/use spirits. They also work with Ranger spirits.

This would be handy for those idiotic rangers who insist on putting down a quickening zephyr spirit thereby screwing up all our casters

The Idea for Frozen Soil is good and you can go sneak over and destroy the enemy spirits against builds like IWAY! Very cool skill definately a nice addition to the game

But Consume Soul (kill a spirit to heal nearby allies) works on any spirit and there's at least one spell that drains health from all nearby spirits.

Well, there is one more spell which you forgot to mention: Signet of creation, which kills all spirits and animated creatures in the area after 30 sec.

A bit overpowered IMO and it will get it with a nerf bat soon. But we will probably have to wait fo factions to see that.

No its great and its the only class that can kill spirits at whill (no other class can do it with normal skills that dont attack directly if you get my drift)

Question: Since the Ritualist skills work on Ranger spirits, will some of them work on Necro minions? If I remember correctly, there are Rt skills that affect "summoned creatures." If so, this could lead to some interesting N/Rt or Rt/N builds.

I figured out the Soul Rupture on ranger spirits by accident. My team's ranger had a Favourable Winds up, and we had just won the match so I decided to see if it would work. One kaboom later I knew.

In the next match we ran into some trouble, and the other team's warrior and assassin were making a run at our monk, but they passed by the Favourable Winds on the way.

Rupture, hurt, blind. Monk lives, I rez the ranger, and we win.

Ranger: Where'd my winds go?
Me: I blew it up.
Ranger: Oh. Thanks.

you can also use spirit siphon on any spirit, friend or enemy (they all have energy pools, even ranger ones).
