I saw a thread like this in the assassin forums seems like a bit of fun so let's get guessing.

How do you think the Rit's are gonna dance?

I get the impression they will do some sort of hindu dance - they seem to have alot of connections to middle-east in their style.

However I'd like to see the female rit do the booty-licious dance :laughing:

Like Kramer, Elaine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Benes) was very physical. Her signature move was to express incredulity by frontally shoving people while yelling: "Get out!" She was also a notoriously poor dancer, as evidenced in the episode entitled "The Little Kicks" in which she dances at a J. Peterman company party. George described her dancing as "a full-bodied dry heave set to music."

I don't mind too much really - I could see it being somewhat goofy, with the assassin having the more serious dance - the monk martial-art style dancing for example, while the ritualists get the goofy dances. And not only males do funny dances - female warrior is doing Pulp Fiction (woman's part) and female necromancer is doing the dance from Thriller, so it is both genders.

The female ritualist's dance reminds me a lot of Voldo's win sequence (from Soul Caliber). Not that that's a bad thing... she makes it a LOT nicer than seeing Voldo do it *shudders... retches...*

Assasin female dance is kinda..... meh. Looks like she's having convulsions. Was hoping for more like a handstand spin or at the least.... more moving around, less standing around flailing arms.

Assasin male dance...... by far the BEST dance in the game. Imagine 10 of those guys syncing at once.... you want creepy, this is it.

Rit female dance reminds me of yogo or pilates or Carmen Electra's stripperoebics. Not necessarily a bad thing mind you :grin:

Rit male dance, I thought it was kinda fruity at first until I realized it was the napoleon dynamite dance. That changed my outlook right there and I was just laughing. :laughing:

Now after the weekend i find i spent most of my time on my ritualist dancing!!!! will post pictures later on what Syncs i saw lol i know there were people doing videos etc specially just before the preview end.

Male Ritualist is simply brilliant lol i couldnt stop laughing =) far more entertaining and isnt annoying like the Warriors dance.

Female ritualist (which i played) i wasnt impressed at first and then found i spent 3 hours in syncs on sunday night so it must have grown on me.

Female assasin dance - i can only HOPE that something complealty differnt comes with the CE in which case the money will have been worth it!

Male assasin is OK but rangers is still 2nd best =)

Uggghhh I disliked that dance... TO THE MAX. It just looked so... fruity. I mean come on, male assassins got the moonwalk and the robot. Best dance ever! I guess you could tell I wasn't one who didn't find Napoleon Dynamite interesting or funny at all.

As for voldo, yes infact as I was watching the female ritualist dance I was thinking to myself. I knew I saw something familiar from some where.

I remember now the female ritualist dance reminds me of some stances, movments and strikes you do if you put the kenpo and tai cuan do sword styles together in a chinease broadsword it makes a powerful stance that takes dexterity and quickness a bit of strength but not much is needed. (its not an easy style to master)

From what I hear the 'special dance' emote that comes with the Collectors Edition is backup dancers. That's right.

For the Ritualist, 3 spirits (like the ones you summon) will appear and do some movements in sync with your dancing to make you look cooler.

For the Assassin, supposedly 3 shadowy assassins will appear and do some ninja-type moves in sync with your dancing.

Im sorry to say, but I can't stand the CE dances of the Ritualist. The female CE dance's back-up singers I think are horrific (but who else are you going to get). The male CE is a little less frightening. I think the whole thing is a bit cheap looking, like some plastic display you find in a cheap snowglobe. If you really like the dance, I am happy for you. Just stating an opinion.

What I had in mind before hand was a completely new dance besides the original Factions provide. Ex. Rt Female does a "seductive snake dance of death"; maybe CE (being a completely complimenting dance to the original) could have been one that if you positioned yourself behind one doing the original dance, you would get the "many arms and hands effect".

The male Rit dance is nothing short of awesome! If it weren't for the dance, I wouldn't have bothered even making a male.

The female dance is kinda meh. I was hoping for something a bit more funky. It's more of a yoga excercise than a dance.

I quite like the backup dancers personally. The problem with them backing the female though is the fact that spirits aren't as flexible. I'd rather have had them playing ghostly instruments or something. (Maybe bongos! ;p )
