Not sure where to put this...since it deals with a Dev I put it here, but it will probably be moved.

New Dev? In Cavalon District one the dragon glitched and stopped killing people. Then a Mo/N named Mark Young started talking in purple chat. At one point it even appeared he was controlling a henchmen. He was on simultaneously with Gaile. And he even led a conga.

He's apparently a programmer, according to the GW "Team" page. And not "new" - been at ANet since 2003. ;) But he's only the third Dev I've heard of to use the "special text," the first two being Gaile and Izzy.

I was there in Cavalon, Dist 1 (American) and I think I have a full log of everything he said from the event start to end but I'm at work so will have to compile it tonight when I get home and post it here...that is unless someone else beats me to it.

He tried to trick us by having us gather near the big dragon (Kurnavon?) and then the other dragon (Shinto) came up and fire blasted everyone. Quite funny.

I mentioned that it was possible that a GM might do that, when I was asking to test Kuunavang and a few players were not cooperating. (After all, in a beta test, testing things is sort of expected from time to time. :) ) But I can promise you no one was kicked. If you had been, you would have had a block on your account and would have gotten a blocked message. I just wanted to clear this up right now.

Oh, and the studio has about 100+ now.
