Erm this is my first log so forgive me for any errors done xD

This took place much earlier from now, and I had to leave early so I don't have a complete log either, so after I finish logging if anyone has the rest from where I stop please post the rest.

Currently editing the rest, thought I'd post them as I finish editing so here goes:

http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/1636/log19sp.th.png (http://img129.imageshack.us/my.php?image=log19sp.png)

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/9671/log24gp.th.png (http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=log24gp.png)

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/2760/log30lt.th.png (http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=log30lt.png)

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/2572/log46ul.th.png (http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=log46ul.png)

Not the end of it, I realize my mistake now of making each log too short, I'm trying to fit the rest in just one more log if possible. Was kind of distracted at the time, was taking care of younger cousin so had to run off every now and then. I'll finish editing my last portion of this and post it in a bit then Back Up can post the end.

Let me quote this - regarding Ashes/Urns/Gears issues of the Aggro system:

"I cannot believe we'll allow aggro pain at release, so I do assume a fix is planned, yes." (20th April 2006)

Gives you a sore feeling in the throat if you read her line about "assumptions" earlier in the chat. :-/

I hope this time her assumption is right. This was unfortunately no definite answer.

Has anet ever told us why we get update news from a talking virtual frog? Its like the muppet show and just as confusing. I dont mind its kind of different just very surreal i read the chat links, still not any the wiser.

Good job Xitoahc! No matter what I think of the Gaile chats themselves, thanks for posting them!

Did anyone notice that Gaile seems a bit more cautious in her answers this time? I wonder if anyone had anything to do with that *cough*

Well its a bit unfair that its Always done in LA International...

Not really accomodating everyone.

Thanks ! I was hoping to be able to log all of it but like I said life got in the way. Was kind of fun to log, and I realized the many mistakes I made with it, hopefully I'll get the chance to log again someday. I'm starting to get more of a sense of when Gaile's on nowadays

Exploding weapons? Eh?

I like Gaile and I like the Frog. Kowever, when they're both talking things get a little... well... odd.

I miss the good ol' days of a mystical frog spreading information when the "rulers of the world" were silent. Oh well ;)

Yeah, I kind of miss it when it was just the Frog. Or just Gaile. This two-man standup routine thing they have going these days isn't as cool, somehow, as when the frog would just start talking out of the blue about whatever.

It kind of concerns me, too, that she's "assuming" that they'll fix urn aggro, when just a few lines above, she jokes about "you know what happens when you assume". I would love more confirmation... ANet, don't let urn aggro slide by into release!

The Oceania server not being feasable sounds a little odd considering Australia and New Zealand alone surpases taiwans population and yet taiwan gets a server, and when you add malasia to the equation you're looking at 50+million people in the market area, who due to geographic isolation perhaps need it more than some of the other regions. Talk about a jip.

You can get a character to LA in a day (from presear) quite easily. And as everyone can access the int districts I can't think of a better place to do them.

/also hoping that the urn tweak WILL happen.

Thanks for the log Xitoahc  though I was there, I crashed half way through (me not my pc) Wen I awoke Gaile was gone.

overall population does not equate to player base. There are probably not enough players in Oceania to justify their own region. I would bet that if Gaile can say "not economically feasible", they have done thorough research.

Language is a key.
Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau use Trad. Chinese.
Anet is going to add a Mainland China district for Simp.Chinese players.
Japan use Japanese.

I think they should also consider (at least) to have a district will all SE Asia countries, incl. Singapore, Mal, Australia and New Zealand.

And finally, if possible, group them together like the European district (They do have many languages, right? May anyone playing there explain a bit?)

Last year, most of the Taiwan and Hong Kong players play the game in US district. I think we'll have your home district soon.

Good luck and do ask for it. We're on your side.

Nice post but next time try to pick a dark background, one that does not have people in it.
This way it will be easier to read.

Seconded. Anyone have information on this at all?

It was posted over at guru during the championships.
Step 1. Unequip a piece of armor.
Step 2. /dance
Step 3. Drag the armor back onto your equipment window while moving (strafing, foward/back, NOT turning)
Step 4. Profit!

Your weapon disappears, but you can still attack and cast as normal. This was used to hide energy sets in PvP. To cancel, just do any emote (/wave works fine) and stand there. All of your weapon attack sounds and animations go off at once.

[edit] Notice I have my negative energy set (F4) active, but the sword doesn't show:

To make your weapon explode (warrior, rangers only) you had to do the invisible weapon trick. Once you've done that all the attack skills you use while your weapons are invisible "store" and dont show up while your wep is invisible. And once you break out of your invisible weapons, say you do /dance and you move, all the attack animation that was "stored" Explodes at the same time. It was a neat trick, but they fixed it on the 19th.

i feel honored that gaile actually called me "Moon" yesterday :D

Oh they aren't rumors!

Electronics Boutique rang me last night and told me there's been a delay in the release of the Collectors Edition.

They suggested they change my order to a standard copy, which I have. However if Gaile says this isn't true I'll change it back. But, I'd rather have the game than wait a few months. I didn't see the CE for Prophecies until a few months after it's release.

Australia always gets the short straw in multinational deals or from overseas owned businesses.
