With the release of Factions, a whole new world of lore has been opened to the Guild Wars playing community. Naturally, topics reflecting this new lore will begin to appear here in the Lore Forums.
However, because lore is often tied in with some part of the storyline, many times, that lore may end up being a spoiler to people who have not had the opportunity to become naturally exposed to it in-game.
Because of this, if posting Factions story-related lore, it is requested that ***SPOILER*** notices be posted in the thread title to alert people to potential spoilers contained within the thread.
Also, if you are making a post that contains spoilers in a topic that does not have the spoiler warning, please use the above warning and include several spaces between the tag and the actual post, so people are aware of the content.
As a further request, when creating new topics, please utilize the http://forums.gwonline.net/images/icons/icon4.gif thread icon from below the typing window. This is a secondary layer of spoiler insulation, and will further alert people to potential storyline plot spoilers.
I will strive to place these tags wherever necessary, but I too want to leave the story a surprise, and placing spoiler tags will greatly help me and the community to remain unaware of story plot developments until we come across them.
