GoF + TRUE == Vizunah Masters Bonus!

Just wanted to offer a quick thanks on behalf of the Gathering of Friends [GoF] to the TRUE members that came and helped us with the Vizunah Square mission. Although we were forced to hench a few spots, we managed to have enough people on both sides (and time our entrance) so that we had friendlies in both teams (so much better than random!). After an initial suicide run by Mhenlo and a second by Togo, on our third try we finished in 23:36 for Masters!

So a big thanks to Nacht Schicht, Nimbus Hawkeye, Em Blaidegard, Simkin of Merilon (Foreign Team) and Zagka Kuttanti (Local Team) -- you guys were great and we look forward to grouping with you again!

I thought that named sounded familiar! I was over on the Foreign side (the crazy assassin tp'ing all over the place), so by the time we met up, it was a little too hectic for introductions. :grin:

We actually have events like this fairly regularly (not that specific mission, but various different ones), based on the community's needs (I believe we're doing Naphui Quarters, the next one in the series, this Wednesday night). We have an official calendar but it's still rather informal -- we generally just look for like-minded individuals to group with (regardless of guild affiliation) and try to have a good time. We have a formal sign-up thread on our boards (see my sig), but you can just PM or ping me in-game if you prefer and I'll make sure to save you a slot!:happy:

It certainly was a good run last night. I think a lot of thanks needs to go to Fell for the minions, but everybody did great. Sorry you missed it, Xenox, and too bad you had to go, Em. Next time.

It was blast last night with you guys! I admit I was skeptical at the first when I saw henchies but I was like what the heck, let's just have fun.

Nearly right away I was impressed with the caliber of my teammates on the local group and the reinforcements on the foreign group - we just steamrolled all over the enemies :)

I'm definitely up for Nahpui Quarters masters, I just tried few minutes ago with a PUG - no luck there :lol:

I can relate since I had lots of issues last night and couldn't get on in time for the follow-up mission. But the good news is that we're always happy to schedule follow-up missions for people, so if there's enough interest we'll be happy to do this again! :laugh:

Gathering of Friends [GoF] is hosting an event to run the next mission in the mainland mission cycle: Tahnnakai Temple! We have two slots remaining and since we had so much fun with Veritas Invictus last time, I thought I'd post here and see if any of you are interested in coming along!

The stars are now closer, and we can see our objective clearly now. Our heroes are now going on a quest to find information from the one person that was crucial at Shiro's defeat so many years ago. And the way they're going is through the suspended city of Xaquang Skyway and through a small refugee neighborhood and the sewers, to finally reach the holy Tahnnakai Temple, shrine of the great heroes of Cantha.

Yep....I just completed Vizunah's Square last night and we weren't able to get the bonus :cry:
