The snow wolf can also be found in Traveler's Vale outside Yak's Bend near the fork in the path.
since UW is accessable from both tyria and cantha, wouldn't that make the black widow unlinked to campaigns?

Great job, just one note about the warthog. Randomly, by the pool with the Raging Bull in Pre-Searing, a warthog will appear instead of a Strider.

If you have any additions or corrections to the Index, please feel free to post them. Once enough significant items are aquired, or once a new chapter is released, I will release a second edition.
As for the Black Widow, I simply put it in the Tyria category because Tyria is the first place that had access to the Underworld (obviously since it was the first continent released). The categories are not campaign linked, simply continent linked. The UW is not a continent, but since it is the only pet available from another "realm", I'm going to keep it in Tyria for now. If more "unearthly" pets are released, I'll make a new category.

I saw an elder white tiger in Melandru's Hope last night. It was later charmed by a ranger boss there.

Quintus, amazing job (as usual  ), but I think the Locations bits would look better if they had this format:
Location(s):
Kaineng City- Shenzun Tunnels
Pongmei Valley- Pongmei Valley
Jade Sea- Boreas Seabed (explorable)
Erasculio
There is a Elder White Tiger at level 15 in Melandru's Hope, but it's incredibly difficult to tame. Also, the Level 20 Elder Crabs is in the Boreas Seabed Mission, not the Explorable Area. There are two blue tameable crabs right at the very beginning... although they are aggressive, they don't have the "Pet-" prefix, so they are tamable.
There are also a couple of typos in some of the posts, i.e. "Echovalde Forest".

Well, sometimes you get it right, sometimes you don't. All in all, for a first edition, it's not too bad.
Please, if you notice anything that needs changed, tell me now so I can release a second edition with the corrections as soon as possible.

I've been hearing lots of rumors lately about charming a panda as a pet. Is this possible? If so where are those pandas located?

It isn't,because of legal issues in other countries and the fact that they're endangered they weren't implemented into the game. Though if I must say they didn't look all to "cuddly" in the Factions manuscripts..

There is an NPC panda (Ling Wong) if you do the "Red Frog" quest on Monastery island. But it isn't tamable.
The warthog can also be found in Lakeside Country near the Raging Bull.

You seem to be missing the Moss Spider that can be found in pre-searing wooded areas.

The Moss Spider is not a tamable pet.

Opps...my bad they should really fix the color of the name then.
Most tamable pets have a bright green (like Green Weapons) name, while non-tamable have a dall green (like the Rabbit in pre-searing, and any friendly NPC) and with the moss spider having a bright green name I only assumed that it was tamable...(guess thats why they have they saying about assuming things... )

First of all, very nice work on this. I find this quite weird as I have been trying to find a decent pet list for the last 2 days so quite a coincidence
The Black Moa can be found when you haven't got the quest active but it random whether it spawns or not, (it seems to be a rare spawn though)
Is there a difference between the different pet types? I have been wanting to get a pet for my monk (just in case) but I want to know abilities and so forth to avoid wasting time

I've noticed a lot of people posting here, and that's fine, but I'd like to make you all aware, if you aren't already, that there is an updated second edition of the Pet Index available by following this link, or clicking the stickied topic in the Lore Fourm page.
