Sorry, I've been offline for a bit with work. I'm slacking with the Gaile notes. This is for those of you that want to know what Gaile said but don't want to read through multiple pages of purple. Remember, these are my summaries from Gaile's "best guesses" and are not "official statements" from GW or ANet.

-Gaile is taking down the following suggestions or asking about them: Item inscriptions, walking, storage improvements, hairstylists, gender changes, alliance names, NPC AI, create a skill contest, more guild leadership ranks, upgrades to certain weapons, Polish language version, character age, increased money capacity, turn off mouse-over info, etc..
-The [new] emotes were the back up dancers and the emotes for the Ritualist and Assassin. Apologies followed as she was originally told otherwise.
-GW related disconnects are being investigated.
-Reconnects are on radar but no timeline as of yet.
-New guild/cape emblems should be coming in a few weeks with another contest expected in the fall.
-Best Gaile Quote: "Oh no, I don't use Mending, it's sooooo overpowered it feels like an exploit! *lol*"
-No answers about glowing chests.
-'Storage options' soon.
-Scrolls stack now but there is more on the horizon for storage improvements.
-Staffing is at about 110 and they are hiring talented people.
-New items are not 1 per profession and not all were added.
-Most likely will be doing item add-ons again like this.
-New event news very soon.
-No new news on auction houses or trade improvements.
-Day/Night cycles are not looking possible in current chapters but still under consideration.
-2nd Gaile Quote: "Oh, you've noticed Orion's little post-battle problem, eh? I call him the 'Cremationist' because he doesn't kill, he cleans up the dead. :)"
-New slot purchase available soon.
-More minipets may be on the horizon.
-Design a Monster contest may come later this summer.
-Chapter 3 announcements still in the future.
-Little known Gaile Fact: Gaile was a top 20 Star Craft tester for Beta.
-AFK-ers not well liked.
-Gaile is worried that people like me are transposing her words with grammatical errors intact - no worries, I sum up mostly and quote very little.
-A mention of Gaile 'seeing about blue dragons' ...? This could pertain to something new or old... caught me off guard actually.
-Bots banned daily.
-Profession changer in Guild Hall still up in the air.
-Recording guild matches may be available - currently in discussion.
-GW official site to include gamer hosted events like The Boat Crew's Easter Egg Hunt and so on in the next few months.
-Any graphical glitches on armor need screenies sent to support. (mental note for Ranger Druids armor with guild capes...)
-New emotes may come for existing professions in Chapter 3.
-More suggestions to watch the 2 Kryta Bomber videos from Gaile (I prefer the Zack videos myself... ahem:blush: ).
-Needs ideas for a rank 15 emote.
-Chest in HoH and server crash problems fixed.
-The Scribe has a posted e-mail address for 'Scribe' stories (not fan fiction).
-The track info in the fan forums and recently coordinated with many of them to better work with the community.

So that's it. Enjoy.

Blue dragons can be found at the gate of the glowing chest. Zoom out and hold down Z.

Blue dragons can be found at the gate of the glowing chest. Zoom out and hold down Z.Ah, this sounds familiar now. I read something about this on another thread. What town was it in again? I forget...

Kaineng Center.
Itīs a bit hidden, down a flight of stairs, I think.

BTW, pressing Z inverses the camera - the only way, apparently, to look behind a wall.

Isnt the festival of the dragon coming up? Blue dragons, dragon festival.... just me? :laugh:Hmm... this may lead to the new 'Event' that was being discussed. Very cool. I was starting to worry being in the US as the closest Holiday here is July 4th (Independance Day) which isn't celebrated by anyone else (as it's the celebration of our nation). I'm glad that there are better 'worldly' holidays out there that might inspire an event. Enlighten the masses on new traditions. I'm kind of excited at this idea.

Guild Wars FactionsTM Dragon Festival
June 30, 2006 7:00 GMT – July 5, 2006 7:00 GMT

In the spirit of celebration, adventurers on the continent of Cantha are cordially invited to the Dragon Festival, a summer festival with all the trimmings!

After the destruction wrought by the Jade Wind, the newly crowned Emperor Hanjai (the eldest son of the assassinated emperor) oversaw the settlement of Shing Jea Island and the expansion of Kaineng City. The following summer, Emperor Hanjai dedicated a new Dragon Festival to commemorate the survival of the Empire of the Dragon.

Participants in the Dragon Festival can join in fun carnival-type games (Whack-A-Worm, anyone?), play new mini-missions and special PvP gameplay, undertake unique quests, and collect Asian-flavored treats such as red bean cakes and rice wine. Ceremonial Dragon Masks will be awarded to those players who are able to collect enough globes filled with the Jade Wind essence that changed Cantha two hundred year ago. The conclusion of the Dragon Festival will be marked with surprises true Canthans won't want to miss.

Taking place in and around the Shing Jea Monastery on June 30, 2006 at 7:00 GMT and running through July 5, 2006 at 7:00 GMT, the Dragon Festival is an exclusive weekend event for Guild Wars Factions players.
