Cross-chapter missions

I would hate to see Tyria wither and die on the vine as more and more chapters are released. I feel the same about Cantha.

Why don't we have new quests included in the new Chapters that allow those with the right chapters to then take their characters across the world in order to complete them?

I know that this means that players would have to have copies of all the games but this sort of mission would really be for die-hards only but at least it would hopefully keep the chapters going. Not being able to go pre-sear again would break my heart.

This would be something I'd love to see, so far I think the only cross-chapter quests we have are the ones that take Tyrian characters to Cantha or Canthans to Tyria.

I like the idea, but I can't see it ever being implemented. Arenanet seems to be trying to keep the campaigns separate so that you don't have to buy each one if you don't want to.

True, but the can create quests that require you to go back & forth only if you own those chapters. Like they have now with Sergio sending you to Mhenlo who sends you to the boat then to Cantha, but only for those who have both chapters.

This would be a nice thing and I am for it.
