Max-Everything Arena

Ok, before I start, I just want to make it clear that I don't expect this idea to be implemented any time in the foreseeable future, and I wouldn't want the devs wasting their time on it instead of more important stuff. That said, what if they made an arena (random or team) where as long as you were inside it, you hade 16 in all attributes and runes of any kind had no effect? What kinds of strategies and odd builds would this create? Just an exercise in wierd PvP theory, I guess, but I'd like to hear your ideas about what you would do with it.

Then you could use skills from any of your professions without investing anything.... i wouldnt be keen.

Well, the whole point is that you get to have fun in a secluded, no-holds-barred arena. It's sort of like raising the level cap, but without screwing everything up.

nice it would make my ele really dangerous armour from earth, dmg from fire, armour penetration from air, hexes from water etc.. of couse this would mean crazy spike builds availible for every profession. interesting idea cheers

Unfortunately, as good as your idea may sound, it'd be horribly imbalanced. Some skills aren't ment to be used together.

A slight variant on the idea would be to max all equipment to the best value you've unlocked. So, PvE characters would get their 20:11 sundering +11%>50 weapon buffed up to 20:20 sundering 15%>50 for the duration of PvP (assuming they have 20:20 sundering unlocked). To match the PvP characters, and their max at creation stuff.

You'd leave runes untouched since not every build wants superior vigor (health saccers) or superior att rune health penalties.
