From the outstart of Factions, participation in missions (finding groups) was terrible. I assumed this is because I was ahead of the majority of players, so no one was to those areas yet. Now that we're deep in summer, it's obvious that the situation is MUCH worse than it ever was in prophecies. Many mission areas are almost devoid of people, and getting a team can take far longer than doing all the quests needed to get to the next mission location.
As a solution, I believe those with "Masters" titles for a mission should be given incentive to help others with those missions, and solve some of this "no one is here" problem. For those with a Masters title on that mission, if they participate in a team that successfully completes the mission, they should be rewarded an amount of faction equal to what can be obtained in the same amount of time faction farming, say an average 30 minute mission = 4k faction.
This does several things:
Gives people addtional options for faction farming rather than same old same old.
Encourages people to help out others by providing a reward for "good" deeds.
Helps eliminate frustration of those going through the game with waiting for hours to do a mission.
Does not reward those going for a title for just trying to get the mission titles (only those with Masters already will get the reward).
I really think this is the best way in Chapter 2 to solve what I see as a serious problem.
