Mysticism (PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE)
Whenever an Enchantment ends, you gain 3 Health for each rank of Mysticism and 1 Energy for every 2 ranks of Mysticism.
Scythe Mastery
Scythe Mastery increases the damage you do with scythes and your chance to inflict a critical hit when using a scythe. Many skills, especially scythe attack skills, become more effective with higher Scythe Mastery.
Wind Prayers
No inherent effect. Many Dervish Spells, especially those dealing with movement or cold damage, become more effective with higher Wind Prayers.
Earth Prayers
No inherent effect. Many Dervish Spells, especially those dealing with defense or Earth damage, become more effective with higher Earth Prayers.

All of these look sweet, especialy mysticism D/Mo sounds better every day:rolleyes:

IMO, if you are planning to make a Dervish, and does not want the "I am stupid" tag like wammos do, you should stop this D/Mo talk ASAP..

I'm not against people making D/Mo's, but there really is no need to make such a big fuss about it to cause extra, unwanted attention from a particular part of the player base.

given the rumours from about the 'god mode' as people like to call it, I can hardly imagine god mode being wind of earth prayers (never know.. could be wrong) and it's hardly gonna be scythe mastery.. so will this mean only Dervish primaries get any decent sort of god mode with their mystics?

I'm sorry, but anyone else finding that the attributes "Earth Prayers" and "Wind Prayers" sound suspiciously like "Earth Magic" and "Water Magic"? [disguised as Wind Magic].

What, from everything you've seen in the "balance" of this game, makes you think there would be anything resembling a true "god mode" with this character. I heard that rumor about some skill allowing the dervish to become an "instrument of the gods", and I thought oh there's going to be an elite like defy pain.

How about Reversal of Fortune.

It is an enchantment, 5 energy. Have 10 or more Mysticism and you can spam it forever??

EDIT: Man, this thread is a duplicate.

I'm curious on how mysticism will work...when Enchantments end on YOU, when Enchantments you cast end [likely], when any nearby peoples enchantments end...

It can only be if when enchantments end on you (the dervish).

Yeah, otherwise Aegis would be energy management.

Almost makes me wish Contemplation of Purity and Release Enchantments weren't Divine Favour...

Edit: And could there finally be a use for the ranger spirit Tranquility?

or using enchantments where the duration is based on the attribute... while putting 0 points in that att.

ooo, and Illusions of Weakness (get ur originally spent health back and a bit more), or Shadow Form (when it ends u end up with X amount... + mysticism heal)

Shadow Form COULD have some more usage, but only if the Mysticism effect applies AFTER it ends.

Air of Enchantment anyone?

edit: never mind, just read it is "target other ally"

im guessing the dervish is gonna be some enchantment guru. It'd be neat if based on the enchantments you used you could go different ways with him like defensive enchants to be a tank and what-not.

Air of Enchantment with Release Enchantments and Heal Party?

I'm willing to bet that this means that Dervishes will have a lot of the Critical Defenses-esque "X is removed when X condition is fulfulled" enchantments.

Or perhaps Mantra of Recall-type "on-release" enchantments?

With all this talk about enchantments and the primary att being about enchantments, I really hope dervished don't end up spending all their time casting enchantments instead of swacking about with their scythe.

Ideal counter against Derv would be Rend Enchantments... It doesn't even damage the Necro :'( Desecrate Enchantments, and other great little spells like that, would be ultimate against a Dervish.

If it was truly so enormously Enchantment dependent, it'd be useless -.- any hald decent secondary necro could use TWO skills and render Dervishes useless, so I think the prayers will include damage skills, and several short-duration enchants, while the spear mastery allows for close-offense. Unless they turn out to be throwing spears...

Ah all will be solved tomorrow ^^

Not really, I mean it still gets healed when enchantments are removed, so Rend would end up healing the Dervish [while still removing its enchants]. Desecrate Enchantments and Defile are good, but not THAT great. Don't see how you could render the Dervish useless...

P.S. Does it seem to anyone that its kinda weird that these guys/gals in cloaks are wielding Scythes at melee? Iunno, they just don't LOOK that Melee... [although the concept art makes me feel just a little better]

Dervishes have melee Scythes, while Paragons have (what look to be ranged) Spear Mastery.

Yes Dervish will be the king and queen of enchantments whichever you prefer but dont think you will be catching enchants on them so easily. An exprienced player will know when to cast them and when to remove them.
