Dervish have a very nice weapon that is very powerful and unique: The Scythe

9-41, AoE Damage.
Swing Speed (my estimation): 1.75 to 2 seconds

Now lets capitalize on the fact that Wild Blow always does a critical hit.

With 12 Scythe, you do 80 damage to all 60 AL targets in range on the isle of the nameless. (I calculated 77,78, strange - should be 78, not 80 damage).

Now let's beef that up with 16 Scythe:
41 +15%(bonus) + 20%(customized) +15%(due to 16 scythe)

I get 86,27 damage this way.

Also think of a Warrior/Dervish with Primal Rage - lots of Crit Hits.

Now the idea is to be A/D and have 16 Critical Strikes and 12-13 Scythe.
For D/W, you keep the Dervish runes and gear and can use Wild Blow - it does critical AoE damage as well.

Sidenote: At the moment some dervish skills and abilities are just a dream, probably they will suffer some terrible nerfs.

Sound interesting

I don't care if they nerf the Dervish. For all I care they can make him trigger det AoE-flee, I'll still make one when GW:N comes out.
Scythes =D my favorite weapon since the first time I played a rpg game ^^

I hope some Dervish skills get nerfed, because they are just too powerfull. I can do 250+ dmg with 2 attacks in 2-3 seconds.

ive really enjoyed playing the whirling dervish premade build so far. Its D/W and man is it a fun build. You basically pump out 4 enchantmens that have an effect when cast and an effect when ended, and then combine em with the attack skill that does +30 dmg and ends an enchantment while instantly recharging itself. Its a very fun skill chain, which you end with victory is mine for incredible results.

Well I have had an E/N with a bunch of unlocks on her for PvP for a while; and a Rit/Mo I've been playing with; but I'm sorely tempted to give one of them up to try another Nightfall preview, maybe two.
