Hi all. After a very long hiatus from Guild Wars for me, I was delighted to come back only a few days before the NPE (Nightfall Preview Event) kicked off!
And, as usual when new and big things come out, here I am to bring you a complete guide to what you need to know.
Well, here's my compiled pic of all the new Dervish skills, each pic taken w/ the corresponding attribute at 12. Enjoy!

Very nice guide!
Would you mind if we added it (with full credits, of course) to the GWO Wiki (http://www.gwonline.net/wiki)? It would be a very cool addition to it.

Melandru is immunity to conditions, Vow is immunity to spells.
There are still Hexes and direct damage spells that hurt Melandru.

Absolutely. Of course, be my guest :) Please, also if you could, credit CMEPTb as well for putting in just as much effort. We were only minutes apart form finishing and posting...
Now all we need is to know what attribute level was used when getting the screens of the skills.

Just a guess, but since tarutaru said 12 in the original post, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the attribute levels were at... I dunno. 12?

Thx for the guide. The Earth line looks amazing, all of those cheap double benefit spells or "cantrips," such as Aura of Thorns, Conviction, Dustcloak, and Vital Boon. The Wind line is intriguing as well with its relatively longranged aoe type effects. And to top it off, the Mysticism attribute is spectacular and makes the possibilities endless.
Tarutarus are maxed, mine are not.
Images in post #3 are so small of a resolution they can't be read. When I click to go to the image on imageshack all I can get is an image the size seen initially and its so small I can't read the text. Right clicking to download it does the same. Clicking on the image on imageshack site doesn't do anything to get a bigger version.

Yea, I tried posting them with different settings, ect...still small. You will have to download them and zoom in on your computer to read. I find them handy for an offline guide.

I tried that but when zooming in the text is as illegible as it is not zoomed in. Why not just retain the original size of the part of the screenshot that contain the text? It seems to me that in making the images you downsized the cropped portions. Simply saving the screenshots to jpg from the bmp is more than enough to get the images down in size for hosting.
The 1st file for example is 164x600 and is 156KB. A file of about 300-400KB at 330x1200 would have been the better way to do it. What I'd like to know is the process you took from the bmp screenshot to the end product. And what resolution is the original screenshot?
Nice compilation!
unfortunatly itīs not 100% accurate, as it seems like itīs taken from the first preview day, a few of the skills have allready been changed during the course of the event.
Dont remember everything, but...
1) Sand Shards got the word "Scythe" added before "Attack"
(due to exhausting assault spam...)
2) If i remember correctly, Lyssa has allready been nerfed to attack skills instead of attacks(*sigh*).
not totally sure about that though.
there might be a few more i missed...

Yep, peasant, you are right. In an attempt to help out the community, I compiled the skill list in the very first hours of the event. Anet, as they did during the FPE (Factions Preview Event), did a few "silent" updates to the skills along the way.
The most notable this event was sand shards, which wasn't so silent after all. It was the first forced-restart that Anet has done in a long time, obviously from the completely broken-ness of the skill.
For the Factions PvP Beta Weekend, the broken skills there were Pain spirits. You could put as many of them down as possible, which allowed a few coordinated among us to hold halls for a long time. Then Anet did their silent update thingy and "Poof!" away it went.

Lyssa is definitely attack skills.
EDIT: well. skills in general.
From my screenshot (12 Mysticism)
"Elite form. for 48 seconds you have +10 maximum energy and your attacks do +41 damage to foes activating skills. This skill is disabled for 120 seconds."
