"Everyone" knows Dervish use alot of enchantments. Necros and Mesmers "know" it and can be pretty nasty for Dervish.

So I went through the skills to make a Dervish build whihc bluffs the whole thing, a build that uses no enchantments at all.

D/W

Mysticism: 13 (11+1+1)
Scythe M: 11 (10+1)
Earth Prayers: 11 (10+1)
Tactics: 1

1 Penitent Strike
+damage, lose 1 enchantment if target is lower health

2 Distracting Blow
AoE interrupt

3 Avatar of Dwayna
gain health and remove 1 hex when u use a skill.

4 Watch Yourself
+20 armour

5 Conviction
get regen when no enchantments, armour when enchanted

6 Meditation
gain health when no enchantments, energy when enchanted

7 Rending Touch
lose 1 enchantment, touched target loses 1 enchantment

8 Res sig

Penitent is just for a bit of damage output, and any other attack can be used as long as it's cheap (5pts really) with a fast reload time and no reliance on being enchanted.

Avatar of Dwayna is for survival, you can almost continually feed the health and hex-removal effect by using Watch Yourself (4 adren) when no other skills are available (energy drained etc). Conviction provides a bit of regen, while meditation provides a good chunk heal, both very useful when not in Dwayna form.

Rending Touch is in there just as a way of getting enchantments off opponents (though probably best not to use it vs other dervish as they're probably packing some offensive enchants).

enchantment only make dervish more powerful... your build is good for staying alive, but with only 2 attacks on your bar, i dont think its that useful... remember the more enchantments removed, the better it is... not only you gain health and energy, there is always some kind of effect after it... take advantage of the 13 points in mysticism

Well I have been running it in RA, so it's not really a guaruntee that you're gonna get a monk (let alone a good one).

It has ended up as more "survival" than damage output, but the scythe damage range 9-41 is pretty nasty as is, especially when u'r scrumming with multiple people (alot of fights in RA tend to end up clumped together neatly within scythe sweeps).

Though it has absolutely no anti-kiting for those runners, nor kite skills :undecided:
