View Full Version : How to counter a Dervish Team

Well, I've been playing a Dervish in HA in the past few hours (Yay! I made it halfway to Rank 1!), and the following have been giving my team trouble:

1. Maelstrom, or "I can't believe 1/4 of my HA PUG just died to the Zaishen"

2. Nature's Renewal - veeery annoying

3. Kiting - Most monks just stand there and die, so I didn't even bring a running skill.... (but the monks, orders etc. that did kite, their team sometimes won, because half my team chased them around for a while and the other half went to kill someone else and died)

4. Spreading out - this should be obvious, but why is an IWAY team all clumping in one big group against Dervish spike?

Not sure why I haven't seen Well of the Profane yet.

Im not sure will Well of Profane work, you are not targetting enchantments, they work despite what ever you are targeting.

In HA i faced weird team where all were Mo/x or x/Mo spamming heal party + prot spirit. They used Nature's Renewal and Bip. And Monks spiked with Obsidian Flame.:shocked: There where 4 or 5 spiking monks, so i spike killed in about 70 % certainty. You could not take them down and soon you had no rezzes left or if you had priest you also had huge DP.

It was long and boring match, but they won it flawless...

That probably wouldn't have worked so good against the PUGs I were in since a lot of us were running Melandru on account of the premade having it, but I can see it working against those running Balthazar form.
