1) Getting 1 and then 2 fame in a run... First one against another Henchway and second versus the guild [SOLO].

2) Ending the forementioned run with a meeting with Brehon Lf's team, the person who had just been holding halls a little while ago...we got massacred.. =]

I was going to run a standard balanceway so while waiting for people to roll up, we just decided to run henchway.

I end up facing the exact same build I was about to run in HA, only to flawless the opposing guild group.

eek. I decided to run something else.

One story for you. It's not exactly pure henchway, but it's close enough imo.

First, I was doing a guild group once. At the end of one fight, someone has to leave so gets fame then leaves the group. We begin the next fight in Dark Chambers with 7 players. Despite this disadvantage, we manage to beat the team. However, during the match, one of the other players err7s (we suspect they actually ragequit, as we had been giving them some beef for some time as they took Chaos Storm on the run instead of Drain Enchantment).

The team decides to leave after grabbing fame for the win as they are 6/8, and three players leave after the fame is given. Three of us stay in the group, however, and Courtyard loads up for us. At this point, we are a mesmer, a monk, a warrior, and a fighter hench + archer hench. We are against an IWAY and a balanced team.

For a laugh, we decide to attack the balanced build with what we have. Although we are unable to score any kills, our warrior sneaks through the gate with a fighter hench and manages to gank their priest. In response, the balanced caps. Because of the balanced capping, the IWAY decides to attack, and moves in on them. Meanwhile, our warrior is killing the IWAY priest.

About half a minute later, there is a huge eoe bomb, facilitated by the fact that the three people near the altar on our team were already on 20% hp from the balanced. Everyone in the game dies - save the warrior and fighter henchie who were ganking the priest. There is around 3:30 left on the clock, with the balanced holding the altar and the only other things alive being our ghostly, our priest, our warrior and a fighter.

We got 6 fame for the win ;g.

That's an awesome story Almas.

Running pug iway back in the day, formed a group with a friend, and we went in. We can be somewhat critical of people's ability to play sometimes, so after the henchies 4 people ragequit. We have 4 henchies and 4 iwayers with us (I think 3 wars and an orders), and he hit a 100 rank guild ... interestingly enough since I kept spamming orders, the fighter hench and 3 warriors were able to gank the monks, and we won the round. We got only 1 fame for the win, although I think we deserved more.

Once won 3 in a row with henchway (uw, bm, bt) against a bad henchway, a bad iway, then a bad pug. After the bt win, we skipped to hoh (3-way). We managed to cap the altar with 1:45 remaining but a well of profane went up right after. The ghost went down quickly and we took turns with interrupts. With 20 secs to go, another team capped :/ Fun times though. I believe we went with 2 live monks, a surge mes, and a ranger. Most surprising was beating the iway. We didn't really have many iway counters at all, so I don't know how we pulled that one off.

One PP/Shatter mesmer, one boon prot monk, two Dual Shot/Punishing Shot rangers and the four henchies. We fought through UW and Burial Mounds to get to HoH in a three-way. The other two teams ignored us for noobs; we managed to spike down two of the holding team's monks, the other team helped us kill the ghostly, the two rangers interrupted the hell out of the other team's ghost and then we capped and won. That was the most amazing Halls win I have ever had.

I was in a random henchway group with a nuker, ranger, smite monk, and me as an iway warrior lol. We beat an iway group, and then we beat 2 other groups.. and we lost to bpsike haha! That's probably my most memorable henchway moment =).
