Will Tyrian ascended have a special status in Elona ?

We know that Turai Ossa is still revered in Elona, we also have strong indications that during our ascension in the crystal desert we helped Turai Ossa reach the mists. The question then is, will Ascended characters have a special status in Elona as they did a great service to Turai Ossa?

It's possible. I'd think we'd have special status anyway. After all, if you are from Tyria you are Ascended and beat the Flameseeker Prophecies (which the Elonians were aware of). If you are from Cantha, you are Weh No Su and defeated Shiro. If you have both, you've done it all. There is a reason we are being called for help.

Still, I suppose this is one of those questions you have to wait till Nightfall to answer.

From the little I know of Elonian lore...

I seem to recall that a decently large portion of the Elonian population went to the Crystal Desert to attempt Ascension. They failed... but we didn't.

That in itself I think would be worthy of some status.

Of course, there should also be some status associated with taking a team of eight people and tromping all over the southern Shiverpeaks, but the NPCs hardly seem in awe of our characters.

Well it could be possible they could see us as some sort of messengers of the gods or miracle workers of the gods and perhaps that could play a role in the tryian characters getting to Elona

Well, not everyone is aware of our character's accomplishments. If we don't have someone else to do networking for us, we'll just be another nobody.

As seen in factions though there will be someone pulling networking for us, like Mhenlo. So maybe someone will do the same for Elona.

It would be super sweet if there was an "Ascended" title, and "wehng so du" or whatever for Factioners...

Well.... There is going to be an "Ascention" in Elona aswell. That is the only way that ascended elonians would be able to access the UW and FoW in Elona.
