In the newest (http://forums.gwonline.net/showthread.php?t=416601) cinematic video of Nightfall (the same as the offscreen one, just with a lot better details) we are able to see the gates to an Elonian city open.
But what does my eye spy? Isent that the emperor of Canthan with some of his guards talking with someone?

We already know that Cantha has some trading relations with Elona (Elona providing salt for Cantha, but has recently stopped doing so)
Might this be the emperors attempt to re-establish the trades? Or is this a matter of military support of the canthan heroes to elona?

Lol yeah, I never understood this quest. Why would the canthan homeless want mirrors? To look at their pitiful images? Why not give a tempoary asylum?

If you recall, trade relations between Tyria and Cantha were recently reopened at the order of Emperor Kisu. Perhaps he is trying to do the same in Elona.

Well it would be kind of bad marketing on Anet's part if there was no support for Factions in Nightfall. They say it's a stand alone game, so if someone only has Factions and it isn't supported by Nightfall why would they buy it? Not a very lore baised reason though. XD

nice. hehe. that's the first thing I noticed watching the clearer version of the video - Emperor Kisu.

Some backgrounds of the 1st GWN trailer is somewhat showing architentures and regions we usually find in Tyria, and some architectures are similar to the Luxons.
