Linking Tombs to Elona

So yeah, it was already known that whatever corrupted TotPK is having a ball in Elona, now for some proof:

Same tentacles, also starring to the right is your friendly neighbourhood bald healerman, Mhenlo. So, what chicks would he have scored with in Elona?
And will he still be a Monk Henchmen, or simply "Handyman"...

(sidenote: Orion is visible on this shot too, however, this hench is know as Holy Hench and wields a Scythe, so it's probably a placeholder)

The 6th image looks like a world map to me, and it looks like a dissappointingly similar landscape the world over...but then, why is there another world map in the 7th image that looks completely different?

Apparently, Elona is attached directly south of the Crystal Desert. The world map kind of disappoints me. Either the shape of the mainland is too boring or the land is all one color. I hope it's not final. Also, the island's fogged detail is odd, it seems to be completely flat. The city-like unfogged detail looks promising, better than Cantha's brown.

It looks like there might be another island starting area. They may be pulling a factions, island to mainland, but this is definately not the final image, since ANet would have banned these images or something if they were the final map layouts. I also noticed that the outpost they were in is "Monolith".

We still don't know for certain that the tentacles are linked to Dhuum (although it's highly likely), so be careful about making conclusions.

I also wouldn't be certain that Mhenlo is in Nightfall either. Some of the early gameplay movies of Factions had Lina in them, but she obviously didn't make it to Cantha.

Mhenlo IS in there. Lina's model was a placeholder, but Mhenlo has his name in the party window and everything in one of the screenshots.

These pictures aren't official, it really isn't difficult to slip in a mini camera or cellphone to take pictures of the screen and put it on the net and Anet can't really do much. (cept maybe doing a more rigorous check next time).
The setting of the world should pretty much be set at this stage. Small details might change. Personally I hope these maps are not accurate... oh well.. guess there's nothing much to do except waiting for the preview.

I believe the final map will be similiar to what we are seeing now, but not exactly the same. Right now, in my eyes, it looks like those map pictures are concept art that hasn't been fully digitialized yet. They will probably change resolution, add more detail, and refine it before release.

That map to me looks a bit like the factions map turned upside down just different details and different colour I hope there more land to explore compared to cantha though

Did anyone notice that screenshot on the pre-release CD that had a landscape with Black tentacles rising from the ground? I don't have the cd here with me at work <.< but if you go through the NF screenies on it there is one great shot of a menacing landscape with several tentacles reachign skyward.
