Hi all, could any1 helps me out with the catapult? I seem to rarely kills anything...

1. Are the catapult shots random? Or does it alway hit the same place?
2. How much dmg does it does? whats the area?
3. Whats the best way to kill/delay the opponent runner when using the catapult?
4. Whats the best way to kill the npcs at VoD? Is it alway the same on every map?
5. How to best way to NOT be killed when u need to go base but some1 shooting at the base? If he wait till you do something? If he spam?
6. Are all the catapults maps the same for catapulting?

Thats all I can think for now... thx in advance

1) There is a fixed range for them, but where they hit is random. The range is roughly from the tip of the door to just past the top steps on the outermost set of stairs.
2) The catapult deals around ~1000 damage at it's centre, but the majority of people hit by it will be taking around 500-700 damage.
3) You probably won't kill a runner with the catapult, but you can delay them by firing it the second they walk into the base, and the moment they attempt to run from the top of the stairs to the exit. This adds about 10-20 seconds to each run attempt, as attempting to run through the base after the catapult has been fired gives a fairly high (~30%?) chance of death, so the flagger will move during the recharge time.
4) Have a warrior stand just inside the rival base (front door), and stack him up with enchantments. He won't be able to stand there long with the fire of guards+archers+knights on him, but it usually takes 2 hits max to ensure that you nab all of the henchies. If you don't have the time to get a warrior there, I have been told that the "perfect" time to fire a catapult is around 20:18, where you have the highest chance of hitting them. I haven't confirmed this though.
5) Rush in suicidally, and see if the rival fires the catapult. If they don't, you probably have enough time to get across. If they do, wait for the hit to land and then run through. On the Hunter's Hall, sticking to the left hand side route means that you stand a greater chance of survival.
