Stock up on the base crafting materials you are expecting to use. When Nightfall goes live, you can expect that it will be practically impossible to find the more common crafting materials. Especially those needed for the new classes.

I am going to play a Paragon, and remembering the troubles of getting materials during the pve event. Ive stocked up on Iron Ingots. Tanned Hides, Bolts of Cloth and Glittering Dust, 250 of each. All the material types that Paragons used for their Istanni and Sunspear armors.

And a Major Vigor to slap into 80 AL armor. Will be relying on minors at lower levels, plus you get one from a quest.

For any non-dervish/paragon profession starting in Elona, remember to stock up on the minor runes for your profession as well.

Im capping all elites or most of them so my hero can have them also stocking up on weapons for them. Im overloaded with materials but i do need cash.

One reason why materials were in such sort supply during the preview was because people didn't have access to their storage (and there were a lot of people playing). I don't think it will be that bad when the game comes out.

get a decent couple builds for every proffesion

acquire 150k AGAIN (did same thing for factions, blew it out on 15k armour, skills, weapons and other stuff

figure out how solo shadow form green farmer works (can only solo woe spreader and memer construct atm)

cap all skills for sin...

FINALLY beat sorrows furnace and titan quests (lol, I had these on the factions checklist)

Material were also short in supply when factions came out, which is probably why people are suggesting to save them.

Saving up money is also a good idea, since depending on levelling speed the new characters may be short, plus if some new rare material is needed for armor (like monstrous claws in Cantha), lots of money may be needed for those.

When nightfall comes out imma get my monk and go throught that story first, see if i can get any rare items and sell em for chunks of money lol. Like what ppl did with amulet of the mist when faction first came out.

I've been stockpiling crafting materials (mostly for my own use) and runes for myself and my Heroes.

Leveling my characters and farming gold so I can get new skills asap. Have several nice weapons and shields that people never seemed to buy that are now slated for heros.

I can't say I really did something... I'm just trying to do as much of Factions, with as many of my chars as possible while there are still people to PuG with.

Will we have access to our storage early on? I hope so.

Usual stocking up of mats and money really.

Although I did have a complete panic today when I saw the rare mat trader sells elonian leather squares - which I thought had been subtley put it as an update for people to buy for nightfall :embarassed:

Also typing /bonusitems so I can get my scythe until I find something pretty decent.

The same as everyone else, stocked up on materials. I doubt there will be as much money to be made from selling materials just after release as there was during the factions release due to more people knowing what to expect and stockpiling, but i hope there is still some money to be made.

Other than that just been farming plenty of cold hard cash ready for the new 15k armours (or maybe FoW if i really like the new classes). Failing that if the armours all suck then i will have 500k (and counting) worth of ale to drink. ALE HOUND here i come.

A guildie and I have created a "ressources" bank for our guild; we both have about over 10x250 of (each of these) Iron ingots, wood planks, bones, tanned hides... :D

I reckon we will be trouble-free at Nightfall's release. ;)

I agree that the crafting trader won't be as bum-rushed as in Factions...I drool at my 100k made selling materials that weren't worth 10k in Nightfall.

However, I'm stocking up on tanned hides. I think we can safely bet on a larger population of dervishes to paragons, especially from people new to the game; melee classes seem to be the most popular for some inane reason. The warrior population still probably outnumbers any other class than perhaps assassin.

As I don't have Factions, all my 5 Prophecies characters' inventories (and storage) are chock-full of crafting material, weapons and dyes. I don't get to farm much anymore coz I can't pick up drops :(

hmmm... who else can i badger to lend me their credit card so I can buy another character slot? ....

Am trying to organize the stuff around, and waiting for Nightfall so I can salvage weapon mods with peace of mind :D

Meantime, I'm trying to ascend my remaining non-level 20 toons and complete their 30-point attribute quests.
