That's my question...
I know a bunch of yall have gotten a chance to play with them, a lot more than i have at least.
So, what are everyone's thoughts?

Well considering we only had a weekend to try them out you'll have to wait until release to get any good responses.
I had good success with a P/Mo during the preview weekend.
Something tells me you'll be seeing alot of R/Pa popping up soon though.

Warrior is hands down best secondary for paragon and anybody who says otherwise is dumb imo.
Dervish is still kinda debateable, I'd say D/W for flail or D/P for agressive refrain... IAS is a must from your secondary unless you are running a build in which you are gonna spec wind and use whirling charge.
While I don't agree with the conviction of TadaceAce's comments, I do think that W is the best secondary for P, if for no reason other than the extra shouts that can be used. During the WPE, I found that having Watch Yourself made for easy maintenance of the Echos I brought with me, and I'm sure these uses will only improve on release.
As for the D,the jury is still out on that one. I see many people going D/Mo in an attempt to duplicate how badly Contemplation was abused during the Nightfall PvP weekend. Other than that, I can't help much, having not tried out the D during the preview.

I didn't get to play paragon much so not sure which route i'm gonna go with that. With dervish gonna go with D/E. Since dervish is melee with 70 AL just like sin gonna go with a defensive earth spell or 2 like armor of earth.

I would rather play around with one of the "core" classes then making a Paragon or Dervish right of the bat... Somehow I think it's gunna be Dervish hell when nightfall is released... same with Assassin hell when Factions was released...

Now that people have had more of a chance to play with each character, have any new ideas sprung up?
Also, what do you think the best secondary for them would be if they were heroes?

I made my paragon a /Ranger just so I can solo with a pet.
Dreams of Legendary Survivor.

seeing as i hadnt played either a D or P in any preview events, i created a P/N, kinda fun, lends itself for support paragon with well of blood, etc...
as for the D, i made my hero dervish a ranger secondary, and equipped apply poison, thought that was kinda fun, actually chuckled out loud at the multiple targets that appeared poisoned as i switched :P

- Nice catch uccat.
Conjures and Judge's Insight add another enchant and increased damage, but can cause problems with some self-enchant-removing skills. Ritualist weapons spells could work too. I'm not using my Monk secondary at all. Most monsters here in Sunspear Sanctuary area die with just using two skills repeatedly (Reaper's Sweep + Chilling Victory)

tyty :P
i would like to try the rit skills and weapon skills, but i would have to watch and see where the dervish cast them. I have found actually (especially my monk heros) that they perform better with limited choice of skills. When i gave my monk hero my healing build, he basically ignores all the 5E uses skills (orison, dwana's, WoH, etc) and used pretty exclusively condition remover and one other that came with the hero that i just left in there because it looked pretty good for the right occasion. pffft, took 3 skills away from him, he performs much better. I am thinking the same applies to most others...
I've gotten two toons off Istani and here are my thoughts.
P/W is definately one of the easiest combo's I've played (e/mo or e/me back in June of 2005 was the easiest). The two pips of regen make it hard to consider any other secondary without a plethera of 5 nrg skills. As soon I can change my secondary I'll fool around with other combos.
With Dervish there was a lotta wiggle room, in the end for me it came down to defense (as others I was worried the D was another sin in the making). I chose D/Mo for the prot line and potentially vig spirit from the healing line. Prot spirit was a life saver in the first semi-challenging mission, constable docks.

Well I have a D/E and I have to say that's a fun build. Go Water Magic. Conjure Frost and the Pre-Order Scythe work great, Aura of Restoration for healing when I cast Enchantments, Glyph of Lesser Energy to make those Enchantments cost no energy, Armor of Mist for AL boost and speed boost.
I also have a P/W but i don't use any of the Warrior skills so...

There is no best. Every secondary has an advantage.

I'm surprised nobody has thought of D/W simply because of one skill: Wild Blow...
