if i am not mistaken master of magic can be obtained in the consulate docks mission.
ran into the skill Destructive was Glaive (and its boss) in arkjok ward - near the sea - just below of the entrance to Jahai Blufs - now off to capture it (didnt expect to see the elites so soon so i wasnt carrying a signt :cry:)

alos ran (on this trip - so just follow the way for glaive) into another boss outside of Haven - i am guessing its the warrior with headbutt. cant be ceratin since the skills didnt show up on my screen but the boss was called something like 'hardhead'.

Pious renewall can be capped in the mission where you get to the mainland there is a boss behind a siege turret wich you have to kill before you can continue, so you will eventually meet him.
And I have found Grenth's Grasp in Marga Coast there is a skale boss(if i remember right)near the shoreline like halfway between Yohlon haven and Nundu Bay.

I came across 'You're all Alone!' in the Barbarous Shore, along with several caps for other professions i didn't pay close enough attention to remember. Missed catching the bosses name. He was in the southwest corner when I found him.

Im sorry, dont remember. I first explored all area's before I started the primairy quests. at some point you cant continue to explore without doing the missions. atm im in mission 10. So I guess I had only the primairy quest when I capped Lyssa.

edit: Ya that non boss is the only guy ive seen use it in the whole game. I ve looked around the other kouron holds and havent seen a boss with it either. Im really thinking is somewhere way up north.
Has anyone found defenders zeal?
That and Healer's Covenant are the only two Monk elites I haven't been able to locate, I've seen what should be the boss for Defender's Zeal however the "Boss" is not cappable.
As for Healer's Covenant if you wouldn't mind sharing what zone, I'd appreciate it.

I just capped Jagged Bones, death magic necro elite in Nightfallen Jahai (leave from the Gates of Torment, the first mission city in the last group). It was on an unnamed Shadow Of Fear with the green boss aura right near the entrance(just head right out). I had the quest "Breaking the Broken" and it completed shortly after his mob was killed. It was a lot of fighting, but I did do it with a all hero/hench team using my SS necro. We died about 3 times but the shrine was right there. Not sure if the quest is required to get the boss to spawn or not. If you don't need the quest it would be a lot easier. I also had the "They Only Come Out At Night" quest, in case that makes a difference too.
The Breaking the Broken quest has a bit of red text that reads "Difficulty: Master" which does sum it up. I made a lot of use of the Lightbringer Gaze skill. All my heros are level 20 with good armor, runes and weapons too.

Don't have a map, but Focused Anger (Paragon Elite) is off Wandalz the Angry, a Gorilla-type boss in the NW corner of Badock Caverns.
(The boss's name was already mentioned but no location in the zone was given, hope this helps people trying to find him.)

Has anyone found Anthem of Fury?
for those looking for wounding strike / marobeth sharptail - he is in fact in Vehjin Mines and is directly north of the entrance from Jennur's Horde. About halfway between the portal to Jennur's and the portal to the Holdings of Chokhin.
I could post a map if you're still having problems..

Droajam, Mage of the Sands in Poisoned Outcrops has Sandstorm. Much easier than trying to race the cutscene to cap from The Drought. :wink:

Shadow of Fear - Jagged Bones (Necro) ~~During primary quest, right at the end, there is also another boss, I think a "Blade of Corruption", but as I only had one cap sig it wouldn't tell me what is was....
Vaveo Aggredior - Assault Enchantments (Assassin) ~~I left from gates of pain, go past where the Mesmer boss was and it is on the left if you keep progressing along the map.
Onslaught of Terror - Onslaught (Dervish) ~~I left from gates of Torment, Head approximately NE from where you start, almost north, until you see a ghostly guy he should be just down the hill to the left
Shepherd of Dementia - Signet of Illuisions (Mesmer) ~~I left from gates of pain, there is a purple waterfall once you get down the hill from the castle looking place, it is just past the waterfall section to the left.
Oath of Profanity - Anthem of Fury (Paragon) ~~I left from gates of torment, it is to the right.

As for Shadow Prison, It was realllly late when I capped it. I am fairly sure he was just outside the Bone palace, as I couldn't get in there and then saw the assassin boss and grabbed it.
I went back to have a look for him and he isn't there and now I am wracking my brains to remember what Quests I have done that were specifically in Joko's Domain.
I get the feeling it might have been apart of the "A deal's a deal" quest (Primary), because the first time I went through that area there were MASSIVE amounts of them just outside the bone palace and he was there too, but I will come back and edit if that is wrong.

There are more elites that nobody seems to find. Just that everybody plays Dervish and wants the elite too badly. People couldn't find healers covenant either and I walk out into the domain of pain and the first spell I see a boss cast is Healer's covenant. A bit more checking is often required with these bossnames.

These bosses weren't there when I played the Primairy Quests a few days ago. So I gues I have to explore a few area's again.
Also I started running through some Tutorial Area's, since Icy Shackles was found to be capped there. It might be that there are more cappable.

Not sure what your issue is, Ate has pretty much given you every elite and what zone it is in about 3 posts up. If people want to say thanks or ask a question they are entitled to do that, this thread has helped me ALOT if it wasn't for some of the questions and "Comments/Chatter" you refer to, I might not have found some of the skills that I was looking for.
If you want a dedicated site for elites that is only about elites maybe you should try Guildwiki, I would give you a link but i'm not sure that I am allowed to do so.

The mission is over after you killed all the enemies that are with the Draught. So you can cap it if you kill the Draught before his companions. :rolleyes:

I'm not sure, but i think, the Elite Lightbringer Signet triggers the Title, too.
So you can get 291 Elite-Skills at max.

I found toxic chill while looking for visions of regret.
Toxic Chill is located in the Wilderness of Bahdza. Leave from bastion, head straight east then move north and you will run into him (about 3rd group of monsters)

As I said in the Dervish forum, I can see a general area the Ebon Dust Aura elite could be, we just need to find an Enchanted Brambles boss. I'm going to look for a location of the boss, and then see if I can post it.

I have a guildmate that has not been able to get him to spawn. Ive spent the last hour dropping quests and trying zoning with/without him over and over. The spawn of him is definetly not related to any active quests. However, the spawn appears to be related to completed quests.
when you zone from bastion, go up and talk to the prince. he has a questline for 'population control'. I know that i have completed those. If you go to the area and see a bunch of hekets....i believe that means you need to complete the prince's questline.
Again, this is all cursory and i am currently testing it.

The Bosses that have Contagion and incoming before doing any quest are gone after doing that quest. Offcourse that is because you "extinct" them.
I found a heket boss way up to the ne corner, he has contigeon or however you spell it. I however have not done any of the quests in that area. I'll try doing those quests and see what happens.
Also, is there anyway to revert nightfallen garden back to the garden of saborhin? I guess taking someone who isn't as far into the game works?

Its been confirmed now. you have to complete the quest 'extinction' which you get in bastion before the nec boss with toxic chill will spawn.
Seems that you have to do (or don't do) to get the "Extinction" Quest.
Because the only Quest I get at bastion ar from Murundu:
1. Kill the Harpyes
1. Forgot Name and the following quest "Reclaiming the Temple"
3. A Sound of Ancient Horns
even with completing all of this Quest i don't get any other Quest at the bastion.
Yes I am having the same problem, the only necromancer boss I see is Brokk Ripsnort.
Made the “Crippling Slash” skill available for capture. Was in the update for November 7, so that must mean that all of the other skills can be capped O__o

I've been looking almost every area Enchanted Brambles are located, and not a SINGLE boss. I don't think they implemented a boss with Ebon Dust Aura.

umm. Having completed all the quests in the Wilderness of Bahdza/Drazgonur Bastion, the only bosses that spawns for me there are:

No, there should be a boss that spawns next to the Toxic Chill boss that gives you 'Incomming!' (I have also done all quests and he spawns for me).

Pain of Disenchanment is just SE from the Grotto. I have all the quests done there and the only quest that I can think of that may prevent the boss from spawning is retrieving the treasure (not the exact name of the quest but that's what you have to do :smiley: ) I *think* if you see a chest there then you have to do that quest first before the Necro boss will spawn (someone please confirm)

Here's an update on my Elite-skill Locations List.
Thnx to all who contribute in this thread too.
- added a few bosses found by you guys.

Ebon Dust Aura, Hidden Caltrops and Extended Conditionsseem to remain.
Ebon Dust Aura is definatly used by Enchanted Brambles who are found around The Kodash Bazaar. I believe this boss spawnes just like Toxic Chill after you completed all quests in the area... I thought I did all but somehow new always appear.
Offcourse we can't find the Assassin skill anywhere except for the boss that uses it.
Extended Conditions... no clue.

Xinrae is in the east part of the mission. If you start in the south walk to the east. Through the temple where the Spellbreaker monk is and up the hill (where you previously fought to close the 5 rifts in the mission) He comes walking down the hill.

Well, I can't even fathom if I can get all the quests in the Vabbi area done to have this boss spawn for Ebon Dust Aura. I've done the ones in towns, but there's no doubt those in the explorable areas that I have yet to do...
Ugh, someone from NCSoft should just spoil on its location at this point, along with the others still missing.

Where do you get that quest? Retrieving the Treasure I mean. I can't get this boss to spawn :(
Its from the Quarry master out in the zone closer to Hordes mission.
Do bosses randomly spawn? I went out to get my second last missing mez elite (Kurrub, Flame of Dreams - Visions of Regret) in the Wilderness of Bahdra. I cleared the place out and didn't find him. Then I thought maybe he's in the mission, did that (got masters, yay) nothing. Was the guy only there in a quest?

Couldn't they make Elites freely cappable no matter what quest you've done or what quest is active T_T

The only time elites and quests are related are when you have to do quests (and finish the quest line) before the boss becomes available. So far I have not found an elite that can only be capped during a quest (and I'm only missing the 3 elites not found).

Those are the three missing skills at this time. Ive started doing quests hopefully that will affect the monster placement on maps (its long shot, but there are a couple quest completed dependant skills).

Well I just found Extend Conditions. It's found on a mesmer boss on the southern shore of Marga Coast. The name is Neoli The Contagious. He's close to ranger boss in that area and the necromancer boss. South East from the fortress.

Hidden Caltrops (Assassin) is available from a corsair admiral in The Floodplain of Mahnkelon. He's the first mob you'll find if you enter from Kodonur Crossroads and follow the edge to the south.

Exit to Domain of Fear from Gate of Secrets and head north west. The ranger boss is just past the tormentor claw-like bridge.

The Drake boss in Sunward Marches? Yeah, he has Crippling Slash instead of Rage of the Ntouka. I think only Onwan has it.

Nice maps of the Nightfallen areas, though one question. Faveo Aggredior does not appear to be where it is listed on the map. I've run to the occasion on several trips, from all of the jump off towns - yet it's never there. I assume there must be a trigger, any ideas?

If a boss carries multiple skills for your character's profession, can they be captured all at once (given that you are carrying the enough sigs of capture)? Or is one restricted to being able to capture only one skill per run?

as long as you have multiple caps you can. bosses only carry one elite so any extra skills will be regular ones
