Can anyone tell me how to get existing characters to the land of Elona?

When you first enter Lion's Arch, a popup message tells you how to unlock Elona if you haven't already. I saw a similar thing in Kaineng Center (when unlocking Tyria with my ritualist) so expect it to be the same there.

For example, the Lion's Arch message is (quoting from memory, have no idea if that's the right quest name or not):
To unlock Elona, take the quest Battle Preparations from Lionguard Figo.

Goto guildwars.com, check update section. They have all the details. :smiley:

And what about the inverse? Getting to Tyria or Cantha, with a char created in Elona?

To quote the update text.

* Elonian characters may travel to Tyria using the quest "Terror in Tyria," which is offered by Deras Tenderlin in Kamadan – The Jewel of Istan after they have completed the quest “The Time is Nigh.”

* Elonian characters may travel to Cantha using the quest “Plague in Cantha," which is offered by Funwa Shento in Kamadan – The Jewel of Istan after they have completed the quest “The Time is Nigh.”

and how do i get the ;The Time is; Nigh quest?? :afro:

Quest in Istan until right before you do the Consulate Docks mission.

I still can't find this dang time is nigh quest. Can someone who's done this add a step-by-step on what quests you do to get that one, if there's a level cap, and which NPC's you need to see? It's kinda frustrating, I'm level 13 and have most of the little island now finished but I still can't find this quest. thanks all!!!:laugh:
