Anyone else stuck on this mission?
Spoiler Alert
1) The 2 runners seem impossible to stop, even with hexes and crippling.
2) After the cutscene, my ally and his heroes are sent to another part of the map that I cannot reach.
1 is just a part of the Bonus, forget it.
I didn't have a problem with #2. I just ended a slight distance from the enemies.

You were able to kill those 2 bosses (forget names) and about 12 corsairs with 4 guys?

Nevermind, the mission was easy once it didn't bug.
Lol, this mish was hilarious. Party was split down the middle after cine....and the 1/2 with way less dmg killed all the rangers, the demon, and that monk general....an ss, warder, monk, and mm, lol...was hilarious to watch

Our party split too, with my ally and their heroes embedded in about 3 foot of rock
Yeah mine split too. I was alone with my 2 heroes, looking at The Hunger and this other guy with Kournan rangers waiting to own me.
I died and noticed my 2 guildies who had found an Oasis xD

We had a fun time though. So hilarious to see yourself alone with no monk
(Why would Anet make an oasis somewhere outside the map, you wouldnt be supposed to get to anyway?)
Did the mission again and skipped immediately, and no problem.
The problem seems (probably) to be related to not skipping the cutscene immediately before the last fight. First try, we didn't skip, party got separated. Second try, we skipped immediately, no separation.
how do you do the fricking bonus?
Ok wtf
I listened to Dunkoro's following suggestions:
-At the very beginning I didnt trust the NPC who attacked us right away as suggested.
-Did not go up the path before the waterfall that led to a Boss as suggested.
-waited by the waterfall for the patrol to go by so that I could sneak up the path and kill the bugs up there.
-Hugged the Eastern walls when as suggested to avoid detection
-was able to kill both runners with ease using crippling and degen with effective hero control
After all that I only get 3/4 suggestions, is there another sugestions that he made, which I am missing?

The hunger ended my survivor, I ran under the bridge and the archers killed one monk, paragon, and ranger just going under, hunger bit me once while I was running to other side then got me again before dunk could RC and I was dead... this mission is straight up lame. Lets put archers 200 feet above where the player has to run through to get to the boss... just for the hell of it.

My problem is, it's literally impossible for me to worry about the hunger when the archers kill a random guy who gets too close to the archers volley. Something I can't control, I tried making the henchmen stay put but it just ended up making them even more worthless and the hunger runs back. Is there some way to take out the archers before you fight the hunger? If not this just seems stupid.

For the last part, I was prot monking, had a 2nd prot hero, and a healer/infuser. Kept aegis up as I ordered everyone under the bridge all the way to the back of the map to take out the monk boss first. Constant Aegis, my ranger hero with BHA, and the infuser doing his thing for anyone that strayed away and got spiked and didn't have any deaths.
I just pulled hunger away from the healer and ranger.
The only melee characters I had on that mission were heroes. I just ordered them to stay put and took out the archers with ranged characters.
I beat it after my 2 friends and their 2 heroes were stuck in the wall... me (dervish + 2 monk hench + a spiteful hench).... wasn't that hard but seemed bugged to hell.

The bug where your party splits up is avoided if you move as a tight pack towards the cutscene.
As for the bonus, you need a party that
1. Follows directions
2. Has a cripshotter and hex kiter.
3. Watches aggro circle.

I only get 3/4 on the bonus as well, but didn't see a problem with the rest.
The one that does not seem to work is the Waterfall one, but maybe I didn't quite pull off the Runners properly. I crippled one and sprinted after the other and then finished the first one off but maybe I wasn't quick enough, so I will have to equip my heroes with Crippling Anguish and try again.
Maybe I got lucky but using my Warrior I body blocked the Hunger on the little bridge and soaked the damage while the Heroes/Henchmen did the killing and only I seemed to be the one taking any damage.
When I then targeted the Rangers I found that my SS Necro Hero had almost killed them all already.
I just wish I could teach him to echo Spitefull Spirit, but he prefers to echo Barbs and then not use the second copy, so I didn't bother again (I know I can manually do it, but I'm lazy!!)
The archers won't fire at you if you're directly beneath the arch where the frontmost archers are. Order your entire party to that point and use ranged attacks on Bayel (if you have Koss along, lock his target to The Hunger). It's rather trivial if you keep yourself out of LoS of the archers.

I beat it by telling everyone (hench and hero) to run all the way to the opposite side of the room (cheer for the rally flag!), so we are well away from the ranger's attack range. Then pick on the monk and finally the hunger. The only catch here is you are still going to take a few hits while running, and MM's minion probably won't run with you.
I think i only managed to do 2 of the suggestions (killed group at the beginning) and hugging the wall....which i am sure cancelled itself when i went on a "first visit looksee" all over the map.
Ended up facing Hunger and Beyal.
Did a mass attack on Beyal till he died ...followed by Hunger...mission complete...with heroes and hench. Gonna have to go back later and see what all the fuss is about

I haven't had a problem with the Hunger and I've done the stupid thing many times now trying to figure out the bonus. Make sure you have a monk with RC, move around until Devona yells Charge!, I do Shields Up! and we all go under or passed the bridge to Bayel with hardly a scratch. It seems completely safe on the far side of (or under) the bridge, you'd think the other groups of archers would kill you but they don't -- maybe I've just never aggro'd 'em.

I too am getting 3/4 on the bonus. It's not catching the one that says "don't go up the path". the rest of them count fine.

OMG... I got it!
On the first 'suggestion' as soon as he makes it, retrace all your steps, then hug the west wall until you get to the waterfall... at that point, it flashed up for me as having been followed.
I also have big trouble with the Bonus, esp. the 2 runners. If you wait for Dunkoro to tell you to stop them, it is too late. If you rush them and kill them before Dunkoro has gotten around to tell you, then the Bonus goal wont register. Is it bugged, or is there a way to get the two runners that will register?
[EDIT] After some searching, I have found that this was a bug that apparently was fixed last night. So I guess it will work now :)

Okay, well the first step is just to go the right way, which is to the left. Then, after that, you see some corsairs going down a ramp. Go down to the waterfall until they pass, and then just go back up without fighting. Once you get to the top just hug the right wall and kill the bugs instead of corsairs. Simple so for, but now we get to the runners. What I did was load up my Zhed and Sousuke(If you have him) with water magic skills and max up the water attribute. (If you want just bring Deep Freeze) Then lock on each hero to one of the runners using the hero tab, and make them use deep freeze. From then on you have 10-20 seconds, depending on how many water magic skills your heroes have. Then just kill them fast, go on and kill bosses. PM me if you have questions.
