Acolyte Jin or Sousuke?

If you recruit one, you can't recruit the other... :( Which is the wiser of the two to choose? Sousuke is Ele, Jin is Ranger. both start at level 11.

I want them both. Is there a better ele or ranger down the road sometime, that would make one of these two picks better now?

I couldn't decide and left it undone until later, but now im stuck in the primary mission where you have to make a choice between 2 more heroes and i cant choose either!

I choose Sousuke - why? Easier on my girly eyes :) He is a bit headstrong - but works well.

The ranger, I'd rather have someone who can intterupt, and thus protect us more at a lower level.

Keep in mind you can only have 3 heroes at a time, and if you're anything but a Warrior you'll be using one of the two Warrior Heroes; people will also no doubt use a Monk Hero as well. It really depends on what you want but do remember they can only use a basic 6 skills and whatever you've unlocked so if you haven't got many Elementalist skills, but you're got every Ranger skill as long as you're not using a Ranger you're better off picking Jin, since you'll be able to give her a decent Build.

well... I'm not that far yet, but as I understand it, Zhed is another ele hero you can get later on, and he's a centaur. So maybe better to wait and get him instead of Sousuke. Myself, I randomly waved the mouse around and clicked :smiley: . I wound up picking Jin. I still haven't done the followup quest though. Later, I s'pose.

I think you unlock all the heros when you finish the game... i read from a gamespot preview i think

well, think of it this way. You will definatly get another Ele Henchman
But you will have to make another choice later on about a Ranger Hero and a Necro Hero. so if your looking for one of every profession, it might be best to go with the ranger :)

I took Jin. She's definitely nasty with the interrupts. RTW + Savage + Distracting ftw.

From above: Yes, after completing the game you get very easy quests to get any henchies who who chose against on to your team.

I chose Jin, she has attitude.

Personally, I've taken Jin for everyone except my ranger. I'm a huge fan of the AI interrupts lowering the pressure on my team. You get Zhed before any other ranger options show up, so that's another thing in Jin's favor. And eventually you can access them all, so no biggy who you choose in the long run.
