Nightfall Campaign Completed! (major spoilers in this one)

I've finally finished the campaign. The last mish is to kill Abaddon.

Abaddon is killed by killing enemies around certain points. Killing the enemies at a point creates a magical chain which binds Abaddon. After the three chains are all set, Abaddon becomes vulnerable for 20% hp. Abaddon has some nasty skills (including one that dazes your entire group).

After killing Abaddon, you are sent to a location similar to Divine Path. People cheer for you, and at the end you are given a Book of Secrets (amulet of the mists wannabe). There is a weapon crafter, but he has poor items.

You also receive quests where you can add all heroes to your party that you did not accept during the campaign (there are three situations where you have to choose between two heroes).

The dark grey parts are the ones that dye. Once I get enough white dye... :P

Not a very good place to put a spoiler warning oO.

He bugged for me, the AI is dodgy. Often they'll lock on to one target then not adapt to their path to that target being blocked. I managed to whittle him down to 30% or so from running from shrine to shrine, then he blocked himself on a spirit trying to chase someone and refused to attack anyone else.

If done again knowing that I couldn't bug him, I'd run heroes with snares and ensure that I was constantly out of his range. He generally stops using Riposting Shadows once he starts using Impossible Odds.

Ehhhrr... Spoilers are getting worse and worse...







In the penultimate mission, you have to fight Shiro and the Undead Lich at the end - you have been banished to some kind of "hell", so they are lurking there.

Regarding the weapon stats: I'm faar too lazy to do it a third time. What I remember:

The daggers are all zealous/fort, but have different skins.
The warrior weapons are all sundering/fort, but change in skin and weapon type.
The warrior shields are +30hp +10 armor (cold or eath), with one of each req type.
All caster wands are 20% recharge of skills of att, +5^50. All caster Focii are half recharge skills, +30. Same as Divine Path I think.
The caster staffs are +5e +30hp, +20% cast time. The way it doesn't specify "of attribute" leads me to believe it boosts the cast speed on all spells - however, no recharge boost.
The bow types vary a lot - I remember a crippling recurve of fort and a vampiric horn of fort. I think it is safe to believe that the most common PvP bows are there.
Scythes and Spears I forget, but I think there was a +5e +20% ench spear. Useful for monks.

I had the same thing happen to me.... I was attempting to kite him, but he seemed to have been stuck next to kormir.

The final battle for me for more of a flashy battle, I personally found Shiro in Factions harder (with henchies).

Was all good fun, BEST campaign yet.

Yup just completed it too, without the "bug" with shiro. Got the "hand of the forgotten sycthe. Also for any eles here, you can get the armour using cloth and wood (and the 60k gold). Oh and you can craft staves with +15 energy, -1 degen...

Kormir is captured and presumed dead in the initial defeat at Gandara, but later on players have the option to either make their way to Vabbi with the Master of Whispers to become a Lightbringer or return to Kourna with Margrid The Sly to rescue Kormir. And even more spoilerish, when you reach her (if you choose to rescue her) Abbaddon has literally eaten her eyes. She is blinded. I can't tell you much more since I can't escape from Gandara after rescuing her as she keeps DYING instead of fighting and I keep having to start over.

then i have killed abaddon second time but Keeper of Secrets gives nothing this time :rolleyes:

You only get 1 book per character after you beat the game, so if you want two end game greens on 1 character, then you'll either have to buy another book, or beat the game on a second character and give him the book. I've seen books for sale in the Kodash Bazaar, Chantry of Secrets and Kam. I'd hold off on buying them though, prices are still kind of inflated right now.
