What happened to the real PvE'ers, the ones who spawned "LFG" messages in towns and outposts like music? Now all we see is 1000 of the full party symbols above each persons head, full of damned Heroes. I miss the old PvE'er, the ones with fire and bile pent up from hours of listening to "Can I have that axe plz?" and map pings, the ones who could preen thier max-to-that-point armour and green weapons and say "All we have to do to win this mission is -handytrickno.32- and everyone would go "ooooo".

All I see now is Hero tamers, shame on you all, remember there was once a time when you wouldn't even consider doing some missions without a near-full party of real people. Yes it took longer, but it was our only slim tie to the outside world!:soapbox:

Ya I hear you, unfortunately hero's may have changed the game forever.

Why are "real" PvEr's the ones who try to complete missions without heroes? Specific effective tactics can be found just as easily with heroes, and are much easier to use with them.

Why does deciding not to endure an endless "I'm wielding a...", playing with people that don't follow instructions and people who, despite being at the last mission, are rampantly ignorant about how the game works, make someone not a PvEr?

Surely someone who is capable of achieving something with a group of quasi-intellegent computers is "better" at PvE than one who needs 7 other people to help them.

Totally true.. I tried finding a group a few times but no one responses. So I'm soloing to now.. It ain't much fun without really players though.. even if they sometimes were anoying ;)

Maybe Anet will introduce "offline mode" in chapter 4 :P

Fair enough for pve starters who have to go keep their heros with them to level them during quests. But why do lvl 20 char who just want to complete game through quests and mission have to bring their heros with them.

This is just forcing lvl 20 people from Tyria and Cantha to spend as much time as starters in leveling their stupid low level heroes for nothing. Whats a pve lvl 20 going to do with heros? Farming is nerfed, I cant think of anything except pvp.

I am trying to monk my way, but I hate every time a quest required you to bring your hero along. aaarrrrrg!
Even though I was looking forword this game, I am quite disappointed. I am actually feel relived that I didn't bought collectors edition as it would definatly been a waste of money just like factions (ce).

They way I see it, pve fun is gone forever. No use of pve char in pvp. No more farming, so what you going to do: redo quest and misisons and waste endless hours killing foes for nothing. gg Anet gg .

Play nice Almas. No need to start trolling.

So, I guess people have spoken in that they prefer controlable custimizeable hench (aka heros) over people who don't listen and bring skills that do absolutely nothing.

Though I hope the vow of silence that most players have seem to have taken is given up soon (cause the outposts are way to quiet).
