Blade and Rose Guardian Mission Event Series

Hello everyone,

For the next couple of nights, as many as are needed, I will be hosting outtings to do the Hard Mode Missions and Bonuses for the Guardian of Tyria title.

These missions are many degrees more difficult than Normal Mode missions, and include high level monsters in excess of level 20 utilizing advanced tactics. As such, it is not for low level players, or people who are not willing to take the mission seriously.

That said, I don't want anyone to take it too seriously! Come and have fun with me and fellow guild and alliancemates, as well as anyone else from the community who wants to come. I will also post this on our alliance boards.

Anyone is welcome to come, but BaR alliance members will recieve priority in spacing. In early missions, when the max is only four, we can have two groups doing the mission.

I hope you will come and enjoy some HM PvE with your fellow players!

Tonight myself and several guildmates, as well as a few alliancemates, completed the first two missions in Ascalon, the Great Northern Wall and Fort Ranik.

Tomorrow we will continue our HM Mission Series, doing as many missions as people want to do or have time for starting around 7 or 8 PM Eastern.

Tonight we completed the Ruins of Sumaria but, while being able to complete the bonus, were constantly twarted by the Nolani Academy mission thanks to a certain stupid prince who pulls aggro.

Ummm I don't even have HM unlocked for ascalon or nf yet..... I'll try to unlock with heroes during the summmer if that is possbile.

You only need to beat one campaign. If you beat Factions, you can do HM in all of the chapters I believe.

If you beat Faction, you've got Faction HM for all your Char. You need to beat the 3 chapter to unlock hm :P

We successfully completed the Borlis Pass mission tonight. It is nice to be into the Shiverpeaks as more people have the chance to participate!

Tonight we completed the bonus portion of the Frost Gate. However, the final objective eluded us, as we were overwhelmed by the Summit at the end. I hope tomorrow we can finish the mission!

In the last few days, we managed to complete the Frost Gate and the Gates of Kryta mission. However, the D'Alessio Seaboard is proving to be quite the challenge.

I haven't been on in a few days, so it's possible people managed to get by it, but from what I've seen, no one does anything unless I'm there to organize it.

Pretty much you're the guy at the helm. It's your HM series, if you did it, then pretty much it will not happen - that's my impression anyway.

Like that other day I joined and didnt do the bonus but since everybody else on the team already did it, it was not an option. Will just swing back to it in my own time, no worries.

@Kahlan: When Arthur finishes his latest tour of duty, feel free to ask us for assistance. I'd be glad to help with any missions you need help on at that time. It'd also be a good chance for those who didn't get to do something this round to get another go.

Howdy, Blade and Rose! Good to see your HM series progressing for a bit. If you ever need a hand, I will be more than willing to help out. I am the only one in Dii who has Legendary Guardian too. That is because there isnt too much HM interest there...yet. I am mostly vanquishing now since HM and title obsession grasped me tightly. So yeah, as I said feel free to shout at me anytime.

Well, I certainly can understand that. As Q said, just let us know. I will likely have some unfinished missions & bonuses and even if I already did them, I probably will come anyway just for drops and experience points.

I find HM much more fun than normal mode personally although it can be frustrating sometimes which makes the victory even more sweet.

I figured I'd give a bit of an update on how this is going. We're stalled on Aurora Glade, the problem isn't so much the mission, as it is getting a group together that can make the multiple attempts that it may take.

I don't know what times you are doing this, but I would like to offer my mesmer at any task at hand, be it SS or slowing the crystal carrier, or going to triple nuke if needed.

Ha, yes, we got a good spawn on the Warthog, and I just happened to be carrying Consume Corpse (just in case) and I beamed to the other side. We intended to rebirth everyone over, but I just soloed the Demogogue using my Crippling Anguish Degen build, and we won.

Let me know if im on and ill bring my war to THK, might start doing these HM missions. The only hardmode thing ive got so far is the bonus for ice caves when i came with you guys (but not the mission because of my stupid internet problems >.>)
