A Thank You

I'm very thankful for being invited to this guild. So, to show my gratitude, ive bought a few FoW Scrolls (2 so far, im trying to get more), and im inviting anyone who wants to come to help me clear the FoW :grin: .

I have not had the chance to sit down and do this before, but im a willing learner. My best character is my Mesmer (Jitjit). I also have a monk and an ele (but the ele dosn't have any decent elites yet, and the monk is not a bonder, just a spam heal). We probably won't have enough time to do it more than once. So i would like to try several times over the next month. (my treat each time)

tommorow is the last day of classes for me (summer college courses :cry: ) So i have off untill the 22nd of next month. School comes before Guild Wars (:shocked:) ,so i will probably have to pospone this during the school year. But i would like to host a FoW party on a in between research papers, that is if there is not already a schedualed thing like this. (I haven't had the time to sit down and read all the treads yet :embarassed:)

I think it would be best to reach a consensus on the best time for everyone, im free all of wensday, and most sundays.The first day i would like to try this is on Wensday of this week. Would anyone like to come?

Hey there Fathful,

I also mostly play a Mesmer. I finished NF and am now working my way through the southern Shiverpeaks in prophecies. I'm not sure that I'm quite ready to take on the FOW, especially since the only time I have been there was during the free weekend a couple of months ago. I wouldn't want to be a hindrance to the team. :embarassed: But I'm working on a variety of builds so that I can improve as a player.

I think that your idea is great though. Another option I wanted to point out to you are the All Mesmer Teams. Check out the Mesmer forums and read more. If you already know about these then good! I'm planning on learning from/with those brave mesmers in the Deldrimor War Camp on Saturdays. Hopefully I'll pick up some useful tactics and improve my confidence when playing in higher end areas.

Is this up for alliance members as well? My husband returns a week from tomorrow, and we LOVE clearing FoW (we've done it 3 or 4 times at the very least), so we know our way around the area.

It was a blast last night - too bad we didnt get to finish. One thing - I got to do quests I never did before and I'm happy about that since I'm a quest-aholic.

Perhaps someday I will finish all of FoW quests... and UW (fat chance of that).

Kahlan - I'm always happy to go back to FoW anytime so when time is good, lets go there :)

im free on suday afternoons, eastern standard time and most evinings, i have off of school till the 22nd, what times are ya'll free?

My experience in FOW is minimum but I would like to join too. Fri or Sat evening are always the best time for me. I assume clearing FOW takes 2-3 hours.

Assume a bit longer :wink: I think the shortest amount of time was 5 hours, but that was with a guy who needed to get up and walk around at least once every hour, and a woman who was pregnant and needed to use the restroom every 20 mins (ok, so I wasn't THAT bad). But you still want to plan on having breaks at least every other hour so that people can get up and walk around. I know I need to after so long.

The standard FoW team (as far as i know) consists of...

Bonder
Heal Spammer
2x Nuker
SS Necro with Battery power (for bonder)
2x Standard Tank
Optional

....At least from what ive seen so far, if anyone has alteration, please feel free to add.

I count 12 people, so far, who want to go. So, i think having 2 teams is the best idea.

As far as times... Perhaps having 2 times a week would be best. Im mostly free on sundays, some have said fridays, and others have said they can fit the pwning of dead zombies into any time frame. I think Friday night and Sunday afternoon might work? That way we can all fit it into our schedual. Can most of you make that?

Im on eastern standard time (same a new york), Zang, you're about 5 hours ahead of me, is anyone on the west coast?

As I said, I don't know how well spirit spamming is anymore cuz I know they screwed around with the skills.
