In the near future, we're going to be offering you more choices through the Guild Wars In-Game Store related to purchasing skill unlocks and PvP access. We will be modifying the PvP Editions of Guild Wars to split out the access portion from the unlock portion. This means that you will have the option to purchase a PvP access key by itself, or you can purchase Skill Unlock Packs for the individual campaigns. By offering these as separate options, you only pay for access once, no matter now many different campaigns you may want to play, and you do not pay for access at all if you already own Guild Wars and are simply interested in buying some skill unlocks.

In order to assure that we offer new purchasers the greater number of choices, we will be removing the option to purchase the existing PvP Edition this week and we will offer the expanded list of choices in early November.

To me it seem very "evil" to remove the PvP packs and reintroduce them the week after the Bonus Mission Pack qualifying period is over... If I were you, I would do my best to push the shedule on the new packs so they can be bough before October 31st (alternatively increase the qualifying period a little)

I'm sure the bonus mission pack can be bought outright. As Arenanet were also going to be bundling it free with online purchases of GW:EN it's probably going to be quite short, limited in scope and a waste of money if people actually go out to buy PvP unlock packs just to get their hands on the missio pack

If so, why is there no information about that, anywhere??? I would very much like to have that bonus pack, and now they've taken away the "easiest" way of getting it, without giving us another method.

If Arenanet are going to make the bonus pack available through other means than the online store, it is time they told us, instead of having us spend money on empty slots we have no use for.

Having just found out about this, I'm disappointed. Buying one of these was my ticket for the BMP, which I really want to have, and I don't have any need for more than 2 more character slots, as I have 9 already. I have all 3 campaigns, the millenium edition bonus and Eye of the North. Very disappointing, imo. It would have been much better to remove these just before the new packs were released, and after the BMP promotion had ended.

Agreed. (Maybe if enough people agree, ANet will consider doing something about it, ha!)

Not that I really needed the PVP, but the BMP was something I'd have loved to take a look at. Let's hope they'll just put it in the shop as an add-on or something.

They'd better tell us if they intend to do something like that, before we go spend our money on empty slots we don't want...

Why should they tell you?

I would like to see what the skill unlocks look like, I might buy them depending on the price.

But if they make the bonus mission pack available for sale, it prolly would be $30 anyways.
