View Full Version : [MERGED] GW2 On E3?! When we are gonna get news?!
So tired of waiting for news and nothing at all, not even one picture.It will at least appear at E3?! :/

nearly a year ago gw2 was announced and we dont even have 1 screeny :laughing:
As far as i remember, it was being said that the Beta was going to start Q3/Q4 of 2008,so much so, there hasnt been an annouce/news for years, and not even one tinny little picture showing how it's going to be.
I was hoping that it might appear at E3, but i'm losing any kind of hope. I'm a GW whore and i'm already crying on the shoulders of my black man servant,so does anybody knows when we are going to get any news?!
Can't wait. But they are keeping it all so quite, so I bet that they are far from done. Proably going to be a next-gen MMO in the lead with WAR, WoW, AOC and LOTRO.

That's what annoys me the most, if they are so far from done could they at least say that so i can't lose any hope of playin it this year or maybe next?!
And if they are going to do a next-gen MMO they will probably lose many fans
just like blizzard said once, you have to keep the game "tangible" for everybody so ANYONE can play it, independent of the user's hardware.

Electronic Entertainment Expo. It's a games industry trade show in Los Angeles that's been getting more and more worthless each year from what I've heard. :sealed:
I am hoping there will be something cool regarding GW2 at PAX, since that would be closer to a possible beta. There's been numerous predictions, my favorite being that we will see more of GW2 on or around the 3rd anniversary of GW, which is coming right up.
I hope GW2 turns out to be a Free to Play Aion

As far as they have said on numerous occasions, There is no reason for them to change from a Free to play game, since that was one of the primary premises(sp) for the game. They have said on more than one occasion that i can remember, that it will be free.

Not to ruin it for you guys, but I belive ANET has said the first time they will show of Guild Wars 2 at an event will be PAX which happens in August.
I hope they change their mind and show something of at E3, but E3 is much bigger now I wonder if ANET will even be there.

Hopefully something this month, since the anniversary of the release Prophecies is at the end of the month.
You might want to read this before making any guesses at GW2.

PAX is the Penny Arcade Expo, and it is in Seattle. ANET is in Seattle also and that is their main show where they show of new stuff about Guild Wars. They showed off Faction, Nightfall, Eye of The North there. I don't have the exact place where I know this from but it comes from countless GW2 threads that were started when we first heard about it. PAX was thrown around by Gaile and them as a sure place where you will see Guild Wars 2.

They also went to the GC in Leipzig the last two years and showed stuff there. This year's GC in from 20th to 24th of August. The PAX starts August 29th.
Since E3 was downsized, I believe ArenaNet have stated that PAX and GC are the "official" outlets of major Guild Wars 2 information. We'll probably get a fair bit of info before then, since that's around the time the beta is due to start, but you can expect two major "chunks" of information in August.

Yeh, that two, but both are in August so eventhough everyone is aching for information we will probably have to wait till then.
On the other hand E3 happens in July so you never know they might share a bit of information so they can get people psyched up about PAX and GC.

I'm hoping we get a little something of what GW2 looks like or how it is going to work before PAX but definitely not holding my breath. Since they announced it over a year ago it feels like GW2 is some sort of enigma twisted into a mystery.

I read in a Gaile log that there was a new site on the way, som maybe some news then...
