GW2 Invited Beta Tester Pool Increased – Still Under Full NDA

ArenaNet community manager Regina Buenaobra just confirmed that the pool of invited testers has also been increased, alongside the press beta testers. Of course, these testers are still under iron-clad NDAs so they might walk among us like regular people and we would not even know!

Also, she clarified again that Guild Wars 2 is not in open beta yet, despite persistent rumors to the contrary.

The NDA is NOT being lifted. Press may be allowed to talk about what they see in the beta event, but this does not apply to the rest of the testers. Just because you see some press on Twitter talking about getting in, does not mean that another press outlet has not gotten in–they just might not be talking about it in public. Secondly, there will be more than just media outlets in the beta event, but the NDA is firmly in place for those testers. This event is not an open beta event.
