Personal story is something I’ve restrained myself from during the BWEs, although I could have chosen different background questions at character creation to avoid similarities with the stories of my soon-to-be-created heroes.
The “giant (space) hamster thing” was a nice jab towards Jeff Grubb’s AD&D background.
