Is your name George?  David?  Is it … Rumpelstiltskin?!  ANet gives us a blog on name reservation for GW2 –  with a requirement.  For those who are wanting to carry over their names from GW1 –

“[...] if they have logged into the game at least once between January 1, 2012 and the day we build the name reservation list.”
