A few days ago Guild Wars 2 was given a review by The Escapist. Impressed especially in how grouping worked as well as general combat, they came out of the previous Open Beta with positive impressions–link here. Perhaps Croshaw will give the game a spin down the road, who knows?

As you know, this weekend is the first Beta test that the press have been invited into the Beta testing process and we’ll be there to check the game out for the first time in a long time.
The testing period is limited but we will do out very best to cover as much as possible. There are some things we can not talk about such as micro-transactions but there is plenty of information we can get back to you all including videos of things you may want to see.
Let us know what you want to know about in this forum thread and we will do our very best to get everything we can in the timeframe.
