PCGamer Made a Graphics Setting Breakdown

PCGamer just released this video breaking down the graphics settings as available in the Guild Wars 2 Press Beta. Very interesting as they check out best visuals versus best performance. This video is shot on a PC with the following specs: 3.20 GHz six-core CPU, 8 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6900.

ArenaNet is garnering even more mainstream gaming media attention with this preview published at the PCGamer website today. The author Rich McCormic gives his impressions of the game from a recent demo event, hosted by Eric Flannum.

“I don’t know if you noticed, but our dynamic events are very visual.” Yes Eric, I did notice, thanks. Your dynamic events are so visual they tried to eat me. “They don’t require a lot of explanation. Say you run into a city and there are centaurs attacking everyone: you know what to do, right?” And no, the answer isn’t ‘try to climb on their backs and ride them around like a horsey.’

They also talk colleges, golems and more. In the second part, named Love and Inquest, Ree and Jeff talk asuran society, asura relationship with the other races of Tyria, and the Inquest.
