Following the update from Chris Whitside yesterday on the Lost Shores and future plans, Chris has decided to hold an AMA on Reddit this Monday to answer queries on the game moving forward.

Thanks for your feedback we really appreciate it. I would like to take the opportunity to answer your questions in an AMA on Reddit on Monday 26th (12pm PST- More details to follow) to talk about recent updates to the game and our philosophy for Guild Wars 2 moving forward.

Please keep in mind that there we are about to begin the Thanksgiving holiday in the US and are out of the office (and likely in game) until Monday. Happy Holidays everyone!

Your Guild Wars 2 Questions Answered on Reddit

As you may have heard, our next massive Beta Weekend Event kicks off on June 8 at Noon (Pacific). In advance of the Beta, ArenaNet President Mike O’Brien himself is jumping on Reddit for an Ask Me Anything session, starting at Noon (Pacific) on June 6 on the /r/gaming subreddit for three hours. Mike will also be joined by other Guild Wars 2 team members to answer your questions. Got a Guild Wars 2 question for Mike and the rest of the ArenaNet Team? Don’t be shy–they don’t call it Ask Me Anything for nothing!

Guild Wars 2 Closed Beta Starts This Friday

ArenaNet’s Jonathan Sharp just confirmed at a Reddit IAmA session that Guild Wars 2 closed beta starts this Friday. Yes folks, that is the day after tomorrow! (Barring a giant storm brought on by climate change..)

The session included a wide range of other interesting and new information as well, which surely will be discussed at length (community forum thread about this IAmA). Thankfully Reddit user Nucking Futs did the work of assembling all the questions and answers, 75 of them in total, for easy reading.
