For any of you that read the "Would anyone be interested in a Religious Guild?" article. http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=277232

I feel that thread got taken out of context. I think Beastie Boy and I had good intentions. Others just misunderstood. It's not like we were going to go around labeling other guilds and religions as evil or preaching at/to everyone.

My understanding is just that we were looking to have a guild with a bunch of people with similar values, morals, and interests to hang out with in the game.

I am truly sorry the thread went to where it did. We never intended for that to happen. We would in no way be looking to force our beliefs on others or label anyone and we would make sure our members knew that.

While I did not post on that thread, I feel that you (Beastie Boy or anyone else) should not be made to feel that your opinions are invalid.

While I personally do not share your convictions of faith (I am an Agnostic), if you want to create a guild and play it in a Christian-style RPG, go for it. Remember that the purpose of this game is to meet new people, test your abilities and to have fun. If others can't seem to grasp that fact, forget them.

Hehe, dont worry about it Kaie, almost all threads affiliated with religion get like that. Its the laws of nature I think. In any case, you two were not to blame, so dont fret.

Kaie, why don't you try reposting in the general guild forum and explain it just like you did here. Hopefully then you can find the people your looking for, and maybe they will be able to handle it a little less zealous then some of them did before.

Still though, if you are ever looking for someone to play the 'evil' part, ya know I can't ever resist playing the bad guy. ;)

Thank you all for understanding where I was coming from. I also know that many of us can get over zealous when we are passionately for/against something so I understand how that happened as well. Religion especially tends to be one of those topics.

And Tsume I know you can play the evil part quite well or at least your speech in the other thread was very good and fitting. It made me wish we could play the game right then so we could have our friendly battle. I love this community and I hope to come across some of you in game.

Ima close this now, just so it doesnt turn into a debate like the other one did. Thanks for appologizing Kaie, but you were not the one who needed to ;) Still, all is well and the gesture is greatly appreciated :D
