View Full Version : Lawsuit Over "The Matrix" Ownership
Well, they say that the industry is a cutthroat business...
Way to make us filmmakers look bad, Wachowskis, Time-Warner.
wow... just wow.
i am sure no one saw that coming...
at first i thought the church was sueing them. o_O
Very interesting. Never even heard of the lawsuit . I allways suspected the Wachowski Brothers were fishy. Just watchin the extra footage something hit me as odd when they talked about it. Glad for that lady though. And I liked how she chose not to play the race card. Many minorities in America throw that in there, I respect her for not doing so. Seems like they stole it allright though. No ifs about that lol.
well i suspect many of us havent either, which is explained why:
"The reason you have not seen any of this in the media is because Warner Brothers parent company is AOL-Time Warner... this GIANT owns 95 percent of the media... let me give you a clue as to what they own in the media business... New York Times papers/magazines, LA Times papers/magazines, People Magazine, CNN news, Extra, Celebrity Justice, Entertainment Tonight, HBO, New Line Cinema, Dreamworks, Newsweek, Village Roadshow... many, many more!... They are not going to report on themselves. They have been surpressing my case for years..."
Though Steward is sueing on all 3 movies, does this mean she is part of the whole trilogy or just the first movie which started it all? If it was just the first movie, then, we will never know how the matrix series "truly" ended. Whereas the way it ended in Revolutions was... weak. *refers to 'The Matrix has you' parody from newgrouds*
Anyways The Matrix Online, a MMORPG will be out soon and it follows off revolutions's ending, obviously a marketing scheme. However the game does look pretty good and I am so tempted in playing it just to know the storyline. =/
I believe she wrote the basis for all 3 movies.
