I'm just wondering if certain of us are already planning on parties to play in for the next BWE, in my righteous GW-spreading zeal I've infected half of the anime-fansubbing group I work with, so I'll be showing up with four of my disciples, all very nice people.
One more DII guildmember to complete the group (and skip lots of sleep with) would be a most welcome addition :D
Thus far we have, apparently, a Mo/Ele, a W/Mo, a R/?, probably a W/Ne and a Ne/Mo

No we have not. Once they get there accounts created let me know so we can add them to the guild list for the weekend. We have plenty of room for the time being.

I'm also from the Netherlands like you so I can probably play around the same times as you. Minelle is also in our timezone and was going to try and join me but, we haven't set any time or place to meet up yet. I have no idea how all the stuff works though.
It all depends a little bit. The bwe starts very early on friday but I won't be available until around 19:00 so that's a lot of time wasted just because I need to be at work and I'm sure you guys will be online before that already.
Anyway, starting around then I will be playing with a new character. If you are much higher in level than me then I have to join up with some other people.
She'll probably be named Celine of DII, a Ranger/Necromancer specialised in curses, bow attacks and wilderness magic (though I have to test some blood and death magic ideas for future characters as well).
I heard from Kaz that the place to log in for the guild is district 20 for towns and district 2 for missions, but how that mixes I don't know.

I'll be starting a new character, too. So we should probably be approx the same level, Celine. However, as my exam doesn't finish until 1900, I might not be online until 2030 at the earliest (depending on how much exam-time I need, of course). My character's name will be Minelle Tempest, a Mo/R (mainly a healer).
And if we don't find each other in districts 2 or 20, we can always whisper to each other. But these are details, and the BWE is still a week away = plenty of time to finalize meeting arrangements.
Yes, more than enough time :). I don't know if I will be online at 19:00 immediately because there's still dinner to make and everything but at least I know that during the evening I will be on.

Well, I have no life to speak of, so I'll probably be staring at my screen long before the Beta opens.

Well I decided I'm gonna restart my character as well, and I don't know what to play since I've been BWE-less since November, and I hear rangers just aint what they used to be. I also could go with what the party needs most, so send your requests this way as to what the party will need most (guess it'll be a monk, the more the merrier). Also seeking help with ideas on what a typical Aussie thing that involves an Emu (or Ostrich for some people :P) and a Koala for the profile.
Why not make a mesmer of sorts to break enchantments and hexes, interrupt opponents and work them with illusions. I think the class isn't very popular but it will definately be on my list if I were to make a second character.

Actually, as far as I understand, Rangers just got a boost in the last skills revamp. To be honest... that's the only primary class that I have played... still fun for me!!

I'll be getting the game today...so once I figure out what I'm gonna try I'll post here.
I'm able to play 16+ hours...no problem.

Time zones are kind tricky for me because I operate on a 20 hour clock, so what I consider a hour would be a hour and 12 minutes for you guys. I play a lot though, so there shouldn't be a big issue in getting in contact with me to play. I know we have set places to meet (dist 2 for quests, dist 20 for cities), but many times there isn't 20 districts in a town, or 2 districts in a quest. I find the Guild hall as a general meeting place to be the best. When the game comes out though, I think that those districts would probably be ok.

Oh Heav, thats just part of the learning process. You werent dieing that often, and you didnt have a pure healer backing you up either. I was a Me/Mo trying to keep two people alive. And when your level 1 thats kinda tough lol. Dont blame it all on yourself though.

WEll I wont be able to join in till around 3 or 4 pm central on friday, at the earliest, so if your sitll Around then, the more the merrier I say.
But if you want a PvE nuker you should check out the newest Fire Elementalist Guide (http://www.gwonline.net/article.php?artid=78&action=part1).
Hope that link helps you a bit. Fire is really the best 'nuke' element. I believe lightning to be the better single target one, and water is definatley the most supportive. (yes yes earth has wards). Earth is like a mix of defense and a few good heavy hits, with knockdown...which is great.

I will also be highly caffeinated and on around the clock, i think i'll be making a ranger, and/or revert back to a new elementalist, or maybe i'll be daring and make a E/R, or a Me/R, hmm. All i know is that i want a ranger in someway :D.
