I think your categories are a little biased. You seem to assume that everyone listens to forms of rock. I like pop, country, and classical, not rock and its subcategories or hip/hop. I have favorites from these because my sibs and friends listen to them.

Sorry about that, I figured most people listened to either Rock or Rap/Hip Hop. I knew a lot of people listens to country, but I didnt know much other genres of music, so thats why I put Other.

Yes, and No. I know in the Rock 'N Roll genre Bohemian Rhapsody is the best rock song ever,, acording to votes. Though you are right because everyone has their favorite song. Thats what this post is for, hoping to get some responses, add the totals for multiple choices in each catagory. Then seeing what the people in the GWOnline Community like.

Rock - I would do anything for love, but I won't do THAT / Meatloaf
Metal - Boheimien Rhapsody / Queen
Hip/Hop - Wild Thing / Tone Loc
Blues - Down in the Alley / Memphis Minnie
Country - Devil went down to Georgia / Charlie Daniels
Western - The Highwayman / various artists
Opera - Phantom of the Opera (the whole thing - it is an opera ya know)
Electronic - Whip It / Devo


Now, maybe there is a theme, but if you have to pick just one, and you can't include all the one hit wonders and classics... "99 Luftballoons", "The Warrior", "Yellow Submarine", and songs like "Achy Breaky Heart" you end up with somewhat of a theme no matter how hard you try not to have one.
