Huh? Free MMORPG? Anarchy Online?

Interesting, AO is now free to play but they'll have advertisements in the cities sorta like you'd see on a U.S. highway. I'm going to check it out. I think I played AO when it first came out and quit before the first month was over... or was that Asheron's Call? Either way I'm not too excited about it, but I need something to kill some time.

It looks like the normal game will be free, but expansions will cost money to buy.

Yes I need something to kill the time too. I was planning to play ROSE Online, but it would not work for my computer. Too bad the expansions cost money, but it's better then paying each and every month is it not?

AO is a waste of time to download.

I gave AO a try, but it is lacking in dungeons to explore(the subway dungeon in every city is the same) and a variety of places to go kill Mobs. When you get to lvl 25+ there is only the Temple of the Three winds to go to. Everyone goes there. I would have liked to see some more variety at these levels.

All the variety comes in the expansion packs, sadly. I reactivated my account a little while ago. I already had Shadowlands, so all I had to pay was the monthly fee, not the upgrade cost. Shades are fun to play ^_^

Honestly though, you don't NEED to go to the Temple to level. You could get a group together and run missions.
